Virtualization of Friendship

The days are bygone, when we had friend circle which we had trust in, where we had reliable shoulders to bank on and where there was support available when needed. Where are we now? Nowhere I suppose....

Now we meet people we leave, and there those meetings just get buried somewhere in the memory lane...Yes those old relations and old timers are recalled when they reach some bigger positions and where they are in much better a position to be helpful to you and get you across your problems mostly professional.....

But what is the value of a friend in today's world...Do we really value our friends? A BIG TIME question. The world today has moved from the real life to Net and there are more netizens then ever...the population is growing day by day....People have started finding solace on the net...they try to make friends have relations and live them here...to the level of having physical relationships....

But Alas, this still remains a virtual world...with no reality and only fascination, lust and fantasy....

Where are we heading? and where is the world loosing the whole so called sect of FRIENDS....I am just afraid that the next generation might just not start stating Friends as the set of people whom we meet online, chat with them, see them online and then just bid good bye....

Signing off with this fear.....of loosing the definition of the word Friend and Friendship
