CBI Investigation for Palghar Lynching

CBI Investigation for Palghar Lynching of Sadhus has been denied repeatedly by the Maharashtra Government. Now to that effect we got into a drive to amass public support by the way of raising a petition https://www.change.org/CBIForPalgharSadhus

While we are still not close to that first milestone, we know well that it would not be easy to call for support from the larger audience due to the Geo political situation in Maharashtra and the lost identity of the Palghar case that got buried under the Sushant Singh Rajput's death case and now the whole set of situation centered around Kangana Ranaut's case. Justice for Palghar Sadhus, #CBIForPalghar and any news related to the Lynching of Hindhu Sadhus has been well buried under the TPR News. As of today there is a fresh news of Hindu Sadhus being Lynched in Karnataka that has BJP Government handling the state affairs.  But that news is also not being highlighted by the News and the Media just because its not going to get them TRP.

Now we are not bothered with any coverage by the TRP hungry Media and we want to get going with what we want to achieve from the overall drive and that is to have Impartial Investigation of the Palghar Lynching and other Lynchings across the country where Hindu Sadhus were murdered by the "So Called Mobs".

In the past we have witnessed high voltage drama over the Death of Tabriz or Pahlu, why, just because they were not Hindus, then why are we still not witnessing any support and outcry on the Lynching of Hindu Sadhus? Just because the Hindus over the time have been made to believe that our religion is outdated and is looked down upon by the Evangelist Missionaries as well as others.  We in general prefer to be called Atheist rather than standing proud to call ourselves Hindus.

But, does this mean that the Brutal Murder of the Sadhus is acceptable? No it is NOT.  We would keep up our efforts to demand for CBI Investigation for Palghar till the Government caves in

मुझे सर्वदा (पाठशाला के समय से) भारतीय इतिहास में अत्यंत रुचि रही है अतः मैं भरतिया इतिहास को पौराणिक कथा नहीं ऐतिहासिक सत्य मानता हूँ। जिसे हमारे लिखित इतिहास में पौराणिक कथा कहा गया है, वह मात्र कथा नहीं है, उसका पुरातात्विक साक्ष्य मिला है। एवं इस पुरातात्विक सांख्य ने सनातन धर्म को वैश्विक स्तर पर विस्त्रत स्थान दिया है। मात्र लिखित इतिहास (जो स्वाधीनता के बाद लिखा गया) उसमें सत्य को दबा कर मात्र विगत १००० वर्षों का इतिहास लिखा गया। इसमें भी भारत का नहीं, आक्रांताओं का ऐतिहासिक महिमा मंडन किया गया है।

भारतीय इतिहास में विज्ञान सर्वोपरि रहा है। प्रत्येक लेख में, प्रत्येक शिक्षण में विज्ञान का प्रभुत्व दिखता है। किंतु हमारी पाठशालाओं में इसे मात्र एक पौराणिक कथा का नाम दे दिया गया है। एवं यह अत्यंत दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण परिस्तिथि है कि आज का युवा सनातन धर्म को मानने से व्यथित होता है। उन्हें हिंदू धर्म का नाम अधिक प्रिय है, किंतु उसमें भी उन्हें धर्म से घृणा ही होती है।

मैंने अपने साथियों से एवं जिनसे मैं जुड़ा हूँ, उनसे एक ही प्रश्न करता हूँ, हिंदू शब्द की उत्पत्ति कब और कैसे हुई? क्या हिंदू एवं हिंदी शब्द इस भारत में भारतीय जनो ने प्रारम्भ किया है? उत्तर है नहीं!

मेरा पाठकों से यही निवेदन है कि आप जब हिंदू पौराणिक कथाओं का उल्लेख करें तो उसे सनातन इतिहास से सम्बोधित करें। इसमें नकारात्मक सोच नहीं है, यह सत्यता से आपको परिचित करवाने का प्रयंत है। एवं यदि आपको शोध करना है तो इतिहास पर शोध करें, पौराणिक कथाओं को आडंबर मान कर नहीं।

Covid 19, Indian Strategy

The way things have been working out around the world and the way the various Governments have been working on various strategies against SARS-COV-2, the things have had a mixed results. Few countries went out with rapid testing processes and few went in with targeted testing and segregating the cases. Most of the South Asian and South-East Asian countries worked on segregation and targeted testing. Let’s take a leaf out from India’s strategy where the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been actively working with scientists, doctors and the other healthcare as well as law enforcement teams to shield the nation against the bigger scare of community spread of the dreaded disease.

The first of the moves that India adopted was to test and isolate specific set of people who travelled from outside the countries including some of the then hotspots. They started as early as January 17, 2020 and slowly started building the momentum with regular advisories being sent to the District (County) administration levels. Then came the 14 days self isolation and stamping process to build more awareness around Social Distancing. Two very primitive steps, but in late February, the Government put their feet on the acceleration by Sending the visitors from outside the country for compulsory isolation managed by Army, Navy and Air Force of India. Some of them ended up in Government Hospitals and we did hear some whining and cribbing that helped create awareness.

With the first two steps helping, India went on to block itself from foreign flights and visitor visa suspension steps. Another set of steps that should have sent a message to the masses that tough times are coming ahead, but well, seems the message was not received in right spirit. the government moved with next step to strictly implement Social Distancing and an advisory was sent out banking gathering larger than 200, which within two days was enhanced to ban gathering of more than 50. Some states at this time went on to implement IPC Section 144 and we heard some whining and cribbing once again and that hurt the way message was to be received. 

But, Government of India under leadership of Modi, went ahead with the next steps, where on March 19, 2020 PM Modi called for the fellow citizens to observe Janta Curfew or Self imposed curfew from Morning 7 to night 9 On Sunday, March 22, 2020. Effectively if we see, there was enough evidences that this Janta Curfew would in actual be of 36 hrs starting Saturday Night to Monday Morning. The results were overwhelming and in many districts administration itself imposed curfew from Sunday Night 9 to Monday morning 9. Message was again clear, Lockdown is coming, but seems many didn’t get that message loud and clear. So, there on Monday after relaxation provided for the day, say around 10 hrs, PM Modi again spoke to the nation at 8PM declaring a compulsorily “Stay at Home” order or the “Lockdown” from March 24, 2020 00 hrs for 21 days. Wish the message would have been received well by the fellow citizens, but few political and religious moves sort of dented this step.

Here came the next move from the PM Modi, a well thought of move that was backed by a very well researched situation. On the front it looked like the perfect alignment of the Navgrah, while it was in actuality alignment of at least 12 satellites including – 2 of India’s own RISAT Satellites, International Space Station and few more. Yes, indeed, most of these were on or around India. That means, a dark 9 minutes time from 9 pm to 9:09 pm would only include clear pictures of areas that didn’t follow the request form the PM Modi. These could be those areas where either the message has not reached well or the areas that were rebel or anti-Government. These could be the probable hotspots too. A serious masterstroke that was totally based on what a few with knowledge / understanding of AI and Space Science would agree. Pots and Pan for solidarity were the trial step for this more precise and scientific approach to identify and singal our the probable hotspots.

This would also help the PMO as well as State Government and the local administration to decide on the Phase-wise approach to end the lockdown across the district in Country. Certainly, there would still be a strict vigil at the district boundaries to ensure that no new hotspots around the country are identified.

And well, the Phase-wise lockdown ending means – Lockdown is not ending by April 15, 2020

COVID19 - Status India

Whether or not, but the recent cases from December 15, 2019 to date have only proved what they are up to. If these posts can cause issue, what would be the point by apologists about them spitting on the roads and security personnel?

What is the explanation for stone pelting a reported in Ahmedabad and other cities?

What is the explanation on them chasing and hurling stones at Healthcare worker?

Do they have field of stones on the terraces of their house?

It makes me sick of those who still think that this is not a way where they are riding #ChineseVirus wave to spread their wings in India. Please if everyone would open their eyes and years on the way hate is spread by them and their sermons to hurt #lockdown efforts.

Remember if the required results of lockdown are not achieved by April 15, we are definite to get extension of the lockdown or stages of lockdown for 21 days or more. It would be inevitable for GOI for the following reasons -

1. First 21 days lockdown was to ensure 100% cases are identified, tracked and sent to isolation
2. With  the way lockdown was defied and approximately 2000+ mingled in the crowd, the overall contract tracing would take another week to 10 days and that would definitely mean another lockdown for at least 3 weeks
3. We would see cases in India rising to about 10,000 (may be more) by this weekend as more rigorous testing, isolation & quarantine is enforced due to recent development.

So be ready to face another lockdown for 3 weeks or more 

Maharashtra Politics - Is it end of Sena in Maharashtra

With the recent turmoil in the post poll political situation in Maharashtra, Shiv Sena literally showed all its tantrums that led to BJP deciding to step back from forming the government at state level.  Hell, no this is not the defeat of BJP or win-win situation for Congress, NCP & Shiv Sena for that matter.  BJP will still be very strong through the tenure that the newly wed coalition will perform (as I doubt that they would complete 5 years). 

With 102 seats in the State Assembly, BJP that fought on 120+ seats is still comfortably the largest party in the state assembly followed by NCP, Shiv Sena and Congress for that matter.  The ambition of Shiv Sena to lead the government with Chief Minister being a Shiv Sainik will do nothing good to the overall agenda of Shiv Sena.  the ideologies of the three parties are totally different and they don't match anywhere.  This in a way will pave the way for the three parties towards suicidal march that only NCP might be able to thwart.

The coalition dharma would vanish within first 6 months and infightings on ideology would start. We would see that the CM from Shiv Sena might not be able to perform as other major positions would be held by NCP while my take on Congress would be of outside support.  This is where BJP would have its fun at the price of this coalition of jokers.

It is already interesting that Ajit Pawar who is touted as the Deputy Chief Minister is already under ED and CBI lens, please search it on the net and you would get good enough reasons for that.  This means in a way Ajit Pawar would be under there radar anyways and that might create additional pressure on the Government footed by the coalition.

In short, the overall coalition would be something that is bound to fail and provide better situation for BJP in the forthcoming elections in 2024 where Maharashtra would pave the way for strengthening BJPs overall score in the LS as well as RS for that matter.

Equal Rights for Hindus – in India

Yes this sounds absurdly funny that Hindus are seeking Equal Rights in their own country of Origin “India” Many questions arise when one hears that the Hindus have started a movement and #EqualRightsforHindus is a trending hashtag on social media. Why is it that the Majority Hindu that constitute roughly 75% of the population of India are seeking equal rights?

To understand the reason to the new movement for equal rights for hindus in India, we would have to date back to 1947 when the country got independence from 1000s of years of foreign oppression. The new formally elected government came in power and the heads that thought together defined the fate of India as “Secular” country. But, there is where they went ahead and insert sections in the constitution about “Religious Minorities”. These religious minorities were given immense support to ensure that they get educated and those communities also develop along with the development of the nation. But, over a period of time, the political parties forming the government at State as well as National level took this “Minority Development” to a different level turning it into Minority Appeasement.

Today, when we look around, the sections of Indian Constitution are so much abused by the politicians that we have a “Minority Affairs Ministry” and quite a lot of concessions are passed over to the so called minorities. But, did the Constitution of India provide with detailed definition of Minority? Did the Constitution articles establish who and why would they be considered as minority? No, a deep dive to the constitution would not yield any such result. So, Why so much of Minority Appeasement and What it changed over last 72 years that Hindus had to stand up for Equal Rights?

Before we attempt to take a shot at answering the questions, we would need to understand what changed due to the particular sections of Constitution of India on Minorities. Things certainly didn’t go as well as they might have been envisaged at the time the Constitution was drafted. Today, what we witness is the utter chaos when it comes to Hindu Literature and people around who call themselves as Liberals challenge the ever existence of Indian Historical aspects of Ramayan and Mahabhart. Because of these so called self professed Liberals, conversion of Hindus to other religions is quite evident. we hear terms like Love Jihad, Forced Conversions, Opposition be able to celebrate Hindu Festivals and worship Hindu Deities, Opposition to placement of Hindu Idols in Educational Institutes and many more.

1. Just consider the fact that Meghalay where Hindus were in Majority in 1947, they are now a minority as 74% conversion is reported from Hindu to Christian Faith. As a result NIT had to remove the idol of Lord Ganesha from its campus within 7 days of placing it. Reason given – It causes Communal Tension.
2. There is another report from North East where the Hindu natives tribe is restricted from conducting last rites of dead bodies per Hindu Rituals
3. Consider that in schools run by Christian Missionaries, education on Bible and Christianity is allowed, teaching Quran in Madarsas is allowed, but any education on Indian Scriptures causes Communal disharmony
4. Consider that Pastors and Maulvis are provided with monthly stipend by the State while Hindu Priests have to live on the donations from the devotees
5. Consider that hundreds of murders and mob lynching incidents against Hindus are not reported or no action is taken over the perpetrators because they are from Minority Community. But even a stray incident of someone from minority community is linked with few others and reported in the mainstream media as act bringing minority community’s existence in danger

There are many such cases that we can keep on discussing and all these are nothing but the real abuse of the sections on Constitution of India that state about Minority without defining what is Minority. These are the aspects that have given rise to the communal disharmony in India and that have caused situations where Hindus today had to stand up for Equal Rights. 

Yeah sounds funny, but actually is tragic that Hindus who are the Majority Community in India are actually the oppressed lot who have suffered through 1000s of years of butchery and now are being misguided by the Political Liberals to be Secular. Irony that Constitution of India stresses India to be a Secular Country, but Islam and Christianity don’t have to abide by that with their intent on conversions, while when it comes to Hinduism, we are taught to be Seculars.

Yes, Equal Religious Rights and Equal treatment is a must in a Secular Country and if India needs to be Truly Secular, we must provide Equal Rights to Hindus and even our scriptures must be taught to our children for them to know that Ramayan and Mahabharat were real. Archeological evidence of these have been established, but not something that are taught to us as it doesn’t suit the Political masses.

Abrogating Article 370 – Legal Evaluation

Abrogating Article 370 is not something that the present Government of India (GOI) decided just at the tap of a hammer. It was much calculated and much weighed option by the Think Tank behind the execution of this step. Many of the people have marked this whole process as hasty decision by the Government after Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan had a meeting with US President Donald Trump. In the press conference following the meeting the US President Donald Trump referred to some discussion between him and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi about Mediation for peace in Kashmir. This however would not be the case as we evaluate the steps by GOI.

We would also evaluate the legality of the Abrogation of Article 370 as well as Article 35A as there are almost 17 Petitions filed in the Supreme Court of India challenging the legality of the Abrogation of said articles through a Presidential Decree. But before that a brief history of Article 370 and Article 35A

Article 370 was adoption to the Constitution of India on October 17, 1949, almost 2 years after the Treaty of Accession was signed (October 26, 1947). This adoption was identified temporary in nature and provided autonomous status to the State of Jammu & Kashmir that included Ladakh, Jammu, Kashmir (including POK) as well as Gilgit Baltistan. This article became operative on November 17, 1952 while the Constitution of India was not yet adopted until 1956.

Article 35 A was added to the Constitution of India on 14 May 1954 through a Presidential Decree, -The Constitution Order, 1954, Applicable to Jammu and Kashmir. This discriminating article created the divide between Residents of Jammu and Kashmir as in 1947 v/s the refugees who migrated from Pakistan during the partition as well as the people from Valmiki Samaj who were brought to Jammu and Kashmir to do "menial" jobs. This article ensured that the later set of people are marked as "non-citizens" of state of Jammu and Kashmir with No rights at state level including jobs as well as Voting rights.

So, with regards to the Article 35 A, introduced by a Presidential Order and revoked / Abrogated through another Presidential Order, the legality doesn't;t make sense as neither the GOI followed Parliamentary Process then nor was it required on August 5, 2019 when it was abrogated.

That now brings us back to Article 370, abrogation of which is causing all the Noice in Parliament as well as Media by the opposition Parties as well as certain Opinions published across the Indian and Global Web and Print Media. For an evaluation of the Abrogation of Article 370, we review the now Abrogated clauses of Article 370, the article could not have been abrogated without the acceptance from the Legislative Assembly of Jammu and Kashmir, but the GOI did it. How did the GOI do that if the legality of the whole case can be questioned and when we have the Supreme Court that may review such passage of an Act in the Parliament. We know that if the Supreme Court would find the step to be illegal, there would be a Constitutional Disaster in the country including a defacement for the current Government. This calls for a review and evaluation of the pre-curser of the event with regards to Jammu and Kashmir -

1. Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) supporting a Government with People's Democratic Party (PDP) and getting the detailed information on the overall Electoral base of PDP. With this step, BJP also ensured that PDP gets isolated from Indian National Congress (Congress) as well as National Conference (NC)
2. Background legal evaluation begins for abrogation of Article 370 under the then one Minister of India
3. BJP and PDP have a fallout, the state Legislative Assembly is dissolved and President's Rule is invoked in Jammu and Kashmir
4. Over a period of time the legal reviews are completed and strategy is formed to Abrogate Article 370
5. During its second term, under Narendra Modi led BJP Government, a bill is introduced in Parliament on the Reservation for Jobs in Jammu and Kashmir. Very aptly the rights of state Legislative Assembly are conferred to the Governor of the State, which most of the Opposition leaders do not oppose as the said bill was on "Reservation"
6. Once the Governor of State gets the rights of State Legislative Assembly, President doesn't have to then look for elected representatives forming the Legislative Assembly constituents and recommendation of the Governor is good enough as the recommendation of State Legislative Assembly
7. Governor of Jammu and Kashmir recommends Abrogation of Article 370 and a Presidential Order is issued to this effect
8. Bill is presented in the Parliament for Bifurcation of Jammu and Kashmir into two Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. This is passed by both the houses with required 2/3rd majority. Done deal, Constitutional process followed and adhered to

Now the above seven steps if evaluated and if understood would render any such petition as a mislead interpretation of the overall process and the two bills that paved the way to Abrogate Article 370. GOI achieved what it wanted to and to ensure better development in the region as well as counter the terrorism by limiting the trouble area.

The Indian Auto Industry

News about the negative growth of Indian Auto Industry is making rounds and fuel to fire has been provided by the 81 year veteran Mr. Bajaj too.  The economists as well as media houses are repeatedly covering the topic in the light of the GOI vision of "India being $ 5 trillion economy by 2024". Indeed the trends are negative for the Auto Industry, but did anyone relook at the reasons for this negative trend?

Things with respect to the Auto prices and maintenance have not been making much sense.  On an average if we calculate the per month cost of owning a four wheeler, we would drive at following breakdown:-

Assumptions - Car Cost - Rs. 500,000; Interest Rate - 9%; Loan Term - 5 years; Avg Distance traveled per day - 100kms; Avg Fuel Cost/ltr - Rs. 77

1. Monthly EMI for the Car Loan - Rs. 10,380
2. Avg Monthly Fuel Cost - Rs. 11,550
3. Car insurance premium - Rs. 10,000 (Yearly approximated)
4. Yearly Maintenance - Rs. 25,000 (Considering various conditions of traffic and weather)
5. Total Yearly expenditure to maintain a car - Rs. 298,160
6. Monthly expenditure - Rs. 24,847 or Rs. 833/day

Apart from the major heads mentioned above, many housing societies in many cities charge separate for Covered / Street parking and that certainly adds up to the overall cost of owning a four wheeler. Now, with the availability of Ola's and Uber's in various cities, if the cost of this transit per day is less than Rs. 833/day, why would anyone go ahead and buy a Car or an SUV? It would certainly not make sense to do that specifically if he buyer is NOT getting any value added perks emanating from the "Innovation" by the manufacturer.  This highlights the another GAP that's hitting the Indian Auto Industry - Lack of Innovation!!

If we look around in the Indian Auto Industry, the would find that the Indian Auto Industry has nothing new to offer to its customers.  Except for the change in external look and feel of the vehicles, most of the times we don't find any new feature that would stand out for a Car. Indian Auto Industry basically Fails to work on the Aesthetics of Auto Engineering and most of the models available use legacy technologies rather than anything new.  While we see that the world is moving towards Electric Cars featuring Autonomous Driving or Cognitive Intelligence for Collision Avoidance, we seldom see any such initiative with Indian Auto Industry.  India is Still waiting for TESLA to be launched in India (expected in 2020) while another electric car has been introduced by Kia (reportedly blasted during charging). The first of few models (4) by Tata Motor would laugh in 2021, while the Government is eyeing more Electric Vehicles to be plying on the roads of India to reduce carbon footprint of India as well as reduce the reliance of the country on  Petroleum products.  

So, going by the current aspects of both Economics (Household Budget) as well as Technology (preference of car ownership) I do not see the Auto Industry coming out of this slowdown unless there is a radical innovation pumped in and the average cost of ownership is Brough down drastically.  It is quite visible that the Cost of plying a Car / SUV for meagre 3000 kms/month is higher than the cost of buying that Car/SUV; certainly that is one of the deterrents for the buyer and needs attention and focus of Auto Manufacturer.  Government on the other side must focus on the Development of Infrastructure that would help them increase usage of Electric Vehicles and for that they may go in for Public-Private model; for only Private model would increase "For Profit" charge points for Electric Vehicles and diminish the benefits for the consumer.

जम्मू कश्मीर में सैनिकों का राजनीतिक क़त्ल - गुनहगार कौन???

CRPF के जवानों पर पुलवामा में हुए हमले की ज़िम्मेदारी केवल पाकिस्तान अथवा पाकिस्तान समर्थित आतंकियों की ही नहीं है। इसके लिए हर वो शख़्स ज़िम्मेदार है जिसने जम्मू कश्मीर की समस्या हल करने की जगह उसपर राजनीति की है। इसकी शुरुआत 1947 के विभाजन से शुरू हुई एवं पिछले 72  सालों से चल रही है।  

यदि हम इतिहास की और रूख करते हैं तो पाएँगे कि जम्मू कश्मीर का वर्तमान स्वरूप अंग्रेजों एवं जम्मू के तत्कालीन महाराजा गुलाब सिंह जी के बीच हुई अमृतसर संधि के बाद आया। अगले 100 सालों तक इसपर महाराजा गुलाब सिंह जी (डोगरा) के वंशज राज करते रहे| 1857 में महाराजा गुलाब सिंह जी के बेटे रणबीर सिंह जी राजा बने एवं 1925 में रणबीर सिंह जी के पोते हरी सिंह जी राजा बने| महाराजा हरी सिंह 1925 से 1947 तक जम्मू और कश्मीर के शाषक थे एवं उन्ही का एक निर्णय जम्मू कश्मीर की वर्तमान हालत का प्रथम चरण है| 

जैसा की हम सब जानते हैं कि 1947 में महाराजा हरी सिंह जी ने जम्मू और कश्मीर को एक आज़ाद देश रखने का मन बनाया था, किन्तु पाकिस्तानी हुकूमत जम्मू और कश्मीर को पाकिस्तान में सम्मिलित करना चाहती थी| पाकिस्तान ने सबसे पहले पख्तून मिलिशिया एवं पूँछ के बागी समुदाय के बल पर जम्मू कश्मीर पर हमला किया| महाराजा हरी सिंह ने जब भारत से मदद की गुहार लगाई, तो भारत के तत्कालीन प्रधानमन्त्री (जवाहर लाल नेहरू) ने इसे दो देशों के बीच का आपसी मामला बता कर मदद करने से इंकार कर दिया| उधर पख्तून हमलावरों एवं पूँछ के बागी लगातार नरसंहार करते हर जम्मू एवं श्रीनगर की तरफ बढ़ रहे थे, जिसे देख कर महाराजा हरी सिंह जी ने जम्मू और कश्मीर को भारत में शामिल करने की संधि कर ली, एवं भारत ने सेना भेज कर हमलावरों को काफी हद तक खदेड़ दिया| जो मात्र एक हिस्सा छूट गया था वह आज पाक अधिकृत कश्मीर के नाम से जाना जाता है| यहाँ पर यह जानना जरुरी है कि इस सब के बीच में गिलगित बल्तिस्तान के कार्यकारी निरीक्षक (ईस्ट इंडिया कंपनी का एक अधिकारी) ने गिलगित बल्तिस्तान वाले हिस्से को पाकिस्तानी हुकूमत के सुपुर्द कर दिया था अतः पाक अधिकृत कश्मीर में गिलगित बल्तिस्तान का उल्लेख नहीं होता है| 

अब यह एक सोचने वाली बात यह है कि जब भारतीय सेना ने हमलावरों एवं बागियों को पीछे खदेड़ दिया था तो पाक अधिकृत कश्मीर कैसे बना? जी, यहीं पर जम्मू कश्मीर की समस्या का द्वितीय चरण बनता है - तत्कालीन प्रधानमंत्री जवाहर लाल नेहरू का इस समस्या के समाधान के लिए UN में जाना| महोदय UN के पास समस्या ले कर गए और LOC (लाइन ऑफ़ कण्ट्रोल) खींच दी गयी| माने या न माने, सत्य यही है कि द्वितीय चरण में हुई इस गलती का खामियाजा भारत के जवान आज तक भुगत रहे हैं एवं उनके परिवार आज तक माटी के लाल खो रहे हैं| 

तृतीय चरण पर हुई गलती 1965 के युद्ध में| एक बार फिर यहाँ पर पाकिस्तान ने ऑपरेशन जिब्राल्टर के तहत जम्मू कश्मीर में घुसपैठिये भेजने की कोशिश की एवं भारत के तत्कालीन प्रधानमंत्री (लाल बहादुर शास्त्री) ने युद्ध की घोषणा कर दी| यहाँ पर तत्कालीन सोवियत यूनियन एवं संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका द्वारा मध्यस्थता कि गयी एवं 17 दिनों में युद्धबंदी हुई| कश्मीर समस्या के हल के लिए ताशकंद समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर हुए, किन्तु वहीँ लाल बहादुर शास्त्री की संदेहास्पद मृत्यु हो गई| अब गलती इसमें यह है कि लाल बहादुर शास्त्री की मृत्यु पर एक राजनितिक हत्या का संदेह जाता है, किन्तु इसके कोई प्रमाण नहीं है| उनके पार्थिव शरीर की अंत्येष्टि भी बिना पोस्ट मोर्टेम के की गयी, अतः कोई प्रमाण मिलने के आसार भी ख़त्म हो गए| जी, यही है इस चरण की गलती| 

उसके बाद 1971 में पूर्वी पाकिस्तान में हुई बगावत, भारत द्वारा भेजी गई मुक्तिवाहिनी के बदले पाकिस्तान द्वारा भारत पर हमला इस पुरे वाकये का चौथा चरण हैं| 1971 में जहाँ भारत ने पूर्वी पाकिस्तान को बांग्लादेश के रूप में एक आज़ाद देश बनवाया, वहीँ पश्चिमी पाकिस्तान से काफी हद तक पाक अधिकृत कश्मीर, पंजाब एवं सिंध का हिस्सा भी अपने कब्जे में ले लिया था| फिर हुआ शिमला समझौता जिसमें भारत के तत्कालीन प्रधानमंत्री (इंदिरा गांधी) ने भारत द्वारा कब्जा किया गया संपूर्ण क्षेत्र वापस पाकिस्तान को दे दिया एवं LOC को ही जम्मू और कश्मीर की शाश्कीय रेखा मान लिया| यहाँ पर इंदिरा गांधी द्वारा एक अहम् फैसला गलत हुआ, उन्हें पकिस्तान को मजबूर करना चाहिए था कि संपूर्ण जामु और कश्मीर से पाकिस्तान पीछे हैट जाए तभी भारतीय सेना सिंध एवं पंजाब से पीछे हटेगी| 

इस समस्या का पांचवा महत्वपूर्ण चरण है 1984 का सियाचिन में हुआ एक छोटा सा प्रकरण| इसमें भारत ने ऑपरेशन मेघबूँट द्वारा सियाचिन पर तो कब्ज़ा कर लिया किन्तु तत्कालीन प्रधानमंत्री (इंदिरा गाँधी) ने फिर एक बार एक मौका खो दिया जिससे वे सियाचिन के साथ ही बाकी का कश्मीर, गिलगित बल्तिस्तान वापिस ले सकते थे| 

छठवें चरण पर आता है 1990 में हुए कश्मीरी पंडितों का क़त्ल एवं उनका कश्मीर से पलायन| इसपर ना तो तत्कालीन प्रधानमंत्री ना ही किसी तथाकथित बुद्धिजीवी ने कभी कोई बात कही ना उस समस्या का आज तक कोई निदान हुआ| 

सातवें चरण पर आता है 1999 का कारगिल युद्ध जब तत्कालीन प्रधानमंत्री (अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी) एवं उनके नेतृत्व वाली सरकार ने भारतीय सेना को LOC पार करने से रोका एवं एक अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण मोर्चा खो दिया| 

उसके बाद पिछले 20 सालों में और भी कई बार भारत ने पाकिस्तान के इरादों पर पानी फेरा और 2016 में उरी में हुए हमले के बाद सर्जिकल स्ट्राइक भी की, किन्तु कोई ठोस परिणाम नहीं आया| आज भी जम्मू कश्मीर में आतंक वादी भारतीय सेना पर हमला कर हानि पहुंचा रहे हैं| 

पाकिस्तान ने धीरे धीरे कश्मीर को पाकिस्तान में शामिल करने के अपने इरादे को आज़ाद कश्मीर की लड़ाई का नाम दिया और आज उसे उसने धर्म का अमली जामा पहना कर कश्मीर को इस्लामिक देश बनाने का काम शुरू कर दिया है| इस्लाम के नाम पर, जेहाद के नाम पर, भारत के जगह हिन्दू राष्ट्र के खिलाफ बगावत के नाम पर पाकिस्तान कश्मीर के लोगों को भड़का रहा है| यहाँ तक की उसने सियाचिन के उठता में एक हिंसा चीन को उपहार स्वरुप भी दे डाला है| इसपर भी भारतीय राजनितिक तबका  केवल UN जाने की बात करता है एवं शिमला समझौते को मानने की बात करता है| 

यहाँ पर यह बताना भी अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है की UN सुरक्षा समिति में भारत को चीन से पहले स्थाई सदस्यता मिलने वाली थी, किन्तु तत्कालीन प्रधानमंत्री (जवाहर लाल नेहरू) ने अपने चीन प्रेम में  वह स्थान चीन को दे दिया एवं बदले में १९६२ का युद्ध पाया| आज वही चीन जैश के संस्थापक मसूद अज़हर को विश्व स्तर का आतंकवादी घोषित करने के खिलाफ UN सुरक्षा समिति में विरोध कर रहा है| 

अब आप ही बताइये की इस पुरे प्रकरण के विभिन्न चरणों का विश्लेषण यही तो कहता है कि भारतीय राजनीति में जम्मू और कश्मीर की समस्या समाधान हेतु कोई ठोस कदम नहीं उठाया| इसी कारण से आज पाकिस्तान अपना सर उनचार कर मसूद अज़हर, हाफ़िज़ सईद एवं अन्य आतंकियों को पनाह देता है एवं पाक अधिकृत कश्मीर (गिलगित बल्तिस्तान सहित) में आतंकियों को ट्रेनिंग देता है| 

और हमारे राजनीतिज्ञ क्या कर रहे हैं? हुर्रियत के लीडर्स को, ओमर अब्दुल्ला, मेहबूबा मुफ़्ती एवं ऐसे अन्य नेताओं की सुरक्षा हेतु दिन के २३ करोड़ खर्च करने में लगे हैं? क्यों? इससे जुड़े अन्य ज्वलंत प्रश्न है जिनके देश की जनता उत्तर चाहती है - 

1. क्या यही २३ करोड़ कश्मीर की जनता के लिए इस्तेमाल नहीं हो सकते? 
2. क्या यही २३ करोड़ सेना के जवानों के लिए खर्च नहीं हो सकते? 
3. क्या अलगाववादी ताकतों की सुरक्षा माटी के लाल की जान से बढ़कर है? जनता अथवा सेना देश के लिए जीती है, किन्तु अलगाववादी एवं मेहबूबा मुफ़्ती जैसे नेताओं ने इस देश के लिए ऐसा क्या कर दिया है कि उन्हें सुरक्षा देने की जरुरत है?
4. क्या पकिस्तान को सबक सिखाने के लिए एक बार, केवल एक बार भारत पहले हमला नहीं कर सकता? 
5. कब तक हम छद्म युद्ध झेलते रहेंगे और अब तक हमारा देश माटी के सपूतों की बलि देता रहेगा?
6. कब तक मोहन दास करमचंद गांधी के शान्ति के पथ पर चल कर हर गाल पर थप्पड़ एवं पीठ में छुरा खाते रहेंगे? इन्ही ने विभाजन के समय पाकिस्तान को ५० करोड़ रूपए दिलवाये थे, जिसका ब्याज हम आज भी आपने सपूतों के बहते खून में देख रहे है| क्या आज की इस समस्या में इनकी जिम्मेदारी नहीं है?
7. कब यह देश नेताजी सुभाष चंद्र बोस एवं भगत सिंह के सबक नहीं पढ़ेगा और पाकिस्तान से धोखा खाता रहेगा?

अंत में यही कहूंगा कि जम्मू और कश्मीर की ज्वलंत समस्या की सम्पूर्ण जिम्मेदारी हमारे लोभी राजनेताओं की है, एवं जब तक वे अपने लोभ से उठ कर देश हित में नहीं सोचेंगे, तब तक हमारे सैनिको को अपनी बलि देनी पड़ेगी| भारत के हर सैनिक की शहादत को जहाँ मेरा सलाम है, वहीँ उनकी मौत का जिम्मेदार भारत का हर राजनेता है जो सत्ता लोभ में विलीन है|

Pulwama Terror Attack

February 14, 2019 brought the sad news to me and the nation about the dastardly Pulwama / Awantipora Terror Attack in which 40+ (44 at the time of writing this article) of our braveheart CRPF brothers martyred.  The attack is said to be owned by Jaish-e-Mohammad led by the mastermind Masood Azhar.  Here I would like to bring to the notice that Masood Azhar was arrested in Kashmir and was later released in 1999 by then BJP government in return for the 155 Indian Airlines passengers who were held hostage in Afghanistan. Today, JeM formed by Masood Azhar carried out the deadliest terror attack of decades.

The terror attack was already hinted by the intelligence units once again identified the lack of uniformed communication and uniformed act to avoid the losses of our brave brothers.  The specifics I would note here that lead to this attacks success are - 

1. Ignorance to collate the intelligence inputs to derive the details
2. Ignorance of the intelligence inputs and not cordoning the Highway for movement of CRPF convoy (seems armed forces are not considered VVIP, when they need to be)
3. Ignorance of the intelligence inputs and still going ahead with 2547 strong convoy rather than the norm of 1000 per convoy
4. Ignorance of the fact that such a big convoy is always monitored by the infamous neighbors of India and this gives them enough time to act even if the date and time wouldn't have been decided in advance

There could be other aspects that the government would look into, but the biggest aspect that needs to be looked at is the way Political atmosphere is packed in India along with the activities by the Pseudo intellects on Twitter - Consider following - 

There are other's too in the fray, but the above two have actually taken the aspects to heights under the pseudo liberal umbrella.  What is the need of the hour is to forget our differences with each other, be it political or be it ideological, and join hands against terror.  Check the one below from the ex CM of J&K and see what she is echoing seems to me a separatist agenda

I mean, a politician rather than condoning the attack is calling foul on the news channels or a party specific activity? How shameful is that when her own family somewhere is part of bowing down to the terrorist demands when her father was the Union Home Minister during VP Singh Government and when her own 23 year old sister Dr. Rubiya Mufti was said to be kidnapped (within the first week her father assumed the position of Union Home Minister).  Now, rather than standing with the nation and the armed forces, she is herself sounding like a separatist? This is seriously a situation that the people and the government should take note of.

The need of the hour is to contain the aspects of what the national sentiment is - Take Strict Action against Pakistan.  Well that is something that the meeting of Cabinet Ministers may mull over and that is something that the Armed forces would have to step in to state anything after assessing the detailed aspects.  But one thing that we need not forget here is about the preparations Pakistan would have made before the attack "If the inputs that ISI trained the attacker to execute this attack stands true". That would mean that Pakistan would have already anticipated that there would be some Re-action from India like the previous Surgical Strike and that would mean that they would be ready to deal with that sort of action.  It would not be right to get caught in the national sentiment of revenge and react to yield anymore loss.  Any decision to take any action needs to be a Joint decision by the Cabinet, the Generals of Armed Forces and the NSA. Something that should be closed and well thought of.

The need of the hour for any pseudo intellect is to stay calm and not stoop down like the above highlighted tweets and keep personal vendetta against channels and anchors away from the National Interest.  They might personally not like each other, but this is a case of National Mourning and they should not use this to spew venom and hate against each other.

With the attack, terrorism has once again raised its head in the Valley and this needs to be dealt with strict action against the terrorists and their sponsors who so ever they are.

My sincere condolences to the families of Martyrs and request to the nation to unite for the Fight Against Terrorism.

भारतीय लोकसभा चुनाव २०१९ - द्वितीय भाग - समीक्षा

प्रधानमंत्री पद के उम्मीदवारों के बारे में समीक्षा प्रथम भाग में करने के पश्चात्, अब समय है वर्तमान के विपक्षी दलों एवं उनकी राजनितिक समीक्षा का| 

इस समीक्षा का शुभारम्भ करते है कांग्रेस (ई) से अर्थात जिसे आज हमारे सामने अखिल भारतीय राष्ट्रीय कांग्रेस के स्वरुप में प्रस्तुत किया जा रहा है|  सही मायनो में यदि हम कांग्रेस के बारे में चर्चा करे तो इससे निकले घातक दलों का आज तक इसमें विलय नहीं हुआ है अतः इसे अखिल भारतीय राष्ट्रीय कांग्रेस कहना उचित नहीं है| कांग्रेस आज अपने आप में ही जनतंत्र का पालन नहीं कर रही है| कांग्रेस आज वंशावली एवं परिवारवाद पर निर्भर करती है| इससे बड़ी बात क्या होगी की विगत समय में तीन राज्यों के मुख्यमंत्रियों का चयन विधानसभा में चयनित सभासदों की जगह दाल के सर्वे सर्वाओं द्वारा लिया गया एवं यह चयन योग्यता के नहीं कथित परिवार के प्रति निष्ठा के अनुरोप रहा| चलिए यदि इससे आगे बढ़ कर हम राष्ट्रहित एवं राष्ट्र की प्रगति के सम्बन्ध में बात करें तो हमें यह जान कर खेद ही होगा कि कांग्रेस के राज्य में भारत की प्रगति अत्यंत धीमी रही है| आप स्वयं ही अनुमान लगाइये कि १९६० में चीन एवं भारत की गढ़पमें मात्रा ९% का अंतर था जो बढ़ कर २०१६-१७ में लगभग ८०% जो गया है| पिछले ४ वर्षों में भारत की प्रगति का अनुमान इसी बात से लगाया जा सकता  है कि भारत २०१३ में जीडीपी के मायनो में विश्व का १०वा राष्ट्र था और आज २०१८ में वह ४थे स्थान पर पहुँच चुका है| वर्षानुसार आकलन किया जाए तो हमें यह ज्ञात होगा कि कांग्रेस शाषित वर्षों में योजनाएं समाजवाद (सोशलिस्ट) के आधार पर बनाई जाती थी, ना की राष्ट्र निर्माण आधार पर| कुछ कोंग्रेसी नेताओं के अनुसार राष्ट्र में इतना सामर्थ्य है कि विकास अपने आप अपनी गति से चलेगा, किन्तु वे यह भूल जाते हैं कि विकास को निति से एक दिशा देनी होती है, अनर्गल विकास केवल समाज को बांटता है| यदि २०१९ के चुनावों के बारे में बात करें तो कांग्रेस की प्रथम उद्घोषणा ही समाजवाद की दिशा में है - न्यूनतम वेतन; अब यदि यह योजना लागू हुई तो सरकार पर सात लाख करोड़ का वित्तीय भार आएगा, और रोजगार उत्पन्न करने की जगह घर बैठे खाने वालों की संख्या बढ़ेगी| अब इस दिशा में समीखा कर आप स्वयं ही निर्णय लें कि क्या कांग्रेस की जीत हमें उचित प्रगति पथ पर ले जाएगी अथवा हम एक बार फिर १० वर्ष पीछे चले जाएंगे?

द्वितीय स्थान पर हम महागठबंधन की बात करते हैं जिसमें समाजवादी दाल एवं बहुजन समाजवादी दाल की खिचड़ी है| यहाँ पर एक अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण बात है कि इन दलों में आपसी समझौता पहले समझा जाए| सूत्रों के अनुसार अखिलेश बाबू को उत्तर प्रदेश का मुख्यमंत्री पद चाहिए एवं बहन कुमारी मायावती अर्थात बुआजी को राष्ट्र के प्रधानमंत्री का| इन्होने अभी तक भाजपा हटाओ के आधार पर गठबंधन किया है एवं कांग्रेस को उससे अलग रखा है| इसमें एक और बात को ध्यानपूर्वक देखना होगा कि यहाँ इन दोनों दलों ने अभी तक ना राष्ट्र प्रगति अथवा समाजवादी प्रकरणों पर कोई बात की है, इसकी मुख्य निति अंतर्गत केवल जातीवाद एवं धर्मान्धता की ही बात हो रही है| 

तृतीय पायदान पर तृणमूल कांग्रेस के नेतृत्व में गठबंधन आता है| विचारणिया बात यहाँ पर यह आती है कि इस स्टार पर भी ना तो राष्ट्रीय ना ही समाजवादी स्टार पर कोई उद्घोषणा हुई है|  इस पायदान पर २२ दलों का गठबंधन है जिसमें उत्तर प्रदेश के उपरोक्त महागठबंधन का भी समावेश है|  यहाँ पर हम कांग्रेस को भी सम्मिलित पाते हैं, एवं एक अलग ही खिचड़ी पकती दिखाई देती है जिसका प्रमुख उद्देश्य मोदी हटाओ देश बचाओ है| इस मंच पर राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर हम प्रगति एवं राष्ट्रहित के बारे में सुनना चाहेंगे, किन्तु ऐसा कुछ सुनने में नहीं आया है; अपितु इस गठजोड़ में हमने ऐसा नेतृत्व देखा जिसके मुख्यमंत्री स्तर के नेता (ममता बनर्जी, केजरीवाल, चंद्रबाबू नायडू इत्यादि) स्वयं ही धरने पर बैठते हैं, एवं उनकी मांगे गहन विचार विमर्श के बाद अनुचित ही लगती हैं| 

इसके बाद अनेको अनेक घटक दल हैं जो किसी एक करवट बैठेंगे एवं राष्ट्रीय राजनीति में अराजकता एवं आक्रोश भरेंगे| उनपर समय व्यतीत करना उतना महत्वपूर्ण नहीं है|

इस समीक्षा का अंत केवल इतना कह कर करूंगा कि इस वर्ष के चुनावों में जनता को भली भाँती सोच कर किसी एक दाल को चुनना होगा जो राष्ट्रनिर्माण एवं प्रगति पर संकल्पित हो| गठबंधन की सरकार में हर घटक दल का अपना मापदंड होगा एवं हर घटक दल अपने वोटबैंक को खुश रखने का प्रयास करेगा; इससे राष्ट्र पर जो विकट विपदा आएगी, उसका अवलोकन करना अत्यंत आवश्यक है एवं यह एक महत्वपूर्ण निर्णय लेना हमारा एवं आपका ध्येय होना चाहिए|

आज ३ महीनो के बाद कलम उठाई है और आपके सामने कुछ सत्य लाने के लालसा से यह लेख लिख रहा हूँ| इस लेख में कुछ   सत्यापित घटनाक्रमों के प्रमाण भी संलग्न हैं| 

तो आइये बात करते हैं भारत में २०१९ में होने वाले चुनावों की और उसमें सक्रिय नेताओं के व्यक्तित्व के बारे में। किंतु, मैं भारत के वर्तमान प्रधानमंत्री अथवा भरतीय जनता पार्टी के बारे में कुछ नहीं लिखूँगा, क्योंकि मैं जनता जनर्दन से उनका सत्य जानने के लिए प्रार्थनारत हूँ। यदि आपको किसी को भी लगे कि आपके पास उनके बारे में कुछ प्रमाणित सत्य है, तो कृपया आप मुझसे सम्पर्क करें।

H4 Visa - A Fresh Debate

I was reviewing the H4 Visa updates and the last update is when the US government for once again updated the court on revoking the H4 EAD.  Once again the time-line provided is for 3 months and the next update is due on November 19. 

In the whole case, Save Jobs USA has been asserting on an early judgement on the case. The case that they highlight here is that the H4-EAD is hurting their job opportunities.  Does that stand a ground is the question here.  I will sight out a few cases that I have observed and that I have encountered in the industry where the Jobs are identified as getting impacted - 

1. One Network Administrator who was working with this company reached that position based on how the situations were handled by that person over a period of time. The total years of experience was 35 at age of 66 and the relevant experience was 6 years.  Education background  - high school pass with CCNA certification.  out of 6 years of relevant experience, the person in consideration was handling a store network for 3 years and based on the successful handling of the store network, gets moved to handle the Corporate Network.  A review of the overall work provides quite an interesting update - none of the older network rules ever get removed, just new rules get added and the routing rules grow over a period of time.  No route rationalization and not route updates.  This person was aligned with an H4 EAD holder for Network modernization and the H4 EAD is a Computer Science Graduate, 10 years of experience of Network Administration with CCNP certification in tow.  The case become aggravated as this Network Administrator starts with Social Media stating his job is in Danger due to a H4 EAD situation.  The question here is - How is the job in danger? is it due to the lack of knowledge in the field or lack of understanding of the overall technology?
2. One Security Administrator, Veteran at age 58 years, 32 years of experience, only 5 years experience of Information Security, In-charge of firewalls.  An H4 EAD was hired to work with the Security Administrator to help with Next Generation Firewalls and UTM devices. Starts showing the concern of Job loss due to the overall situation of H4 EAD. Why??
3. One 70 year old Contract Employee assisting the Organization for SoX Compliance, put under an H4 EAD along with other Compliance Analysts to move the overall Organizational Compliance Efforts under Unified Compliance Framework. Shows dissent and fear of Job loss. Where and Why??

There are similar other cases tons of them, where the main hue and cry round Job loss is more of a concern rather than actual case.  The whole situation is boiling out to be what it is because of the availability of higher skilled resources who right now are untapped due to the way Visa is constructed. Consider it that there still is a deficiency of high skilled resources in the field of IT and Cyber Security.  Consider that by 2020, the Demand and Supply gap for the Cyber Security Professionals would grow to almost a million and I the organizations are not going to address that gap by tapping the available pool of resources trapped under the condition of H4 Visa, there would be serious repercussions.  

Consider that skills are not something that are grow with age, it is important to have that exposure to the latest and best knowledge source and the capability to absorb it at the right time.  Not just in IT, but in other professions too, tapping the right skills is an important requirement for organization success.  

My Question to Save Job USA is - Why don't you bring the Manufacturing jobs back to USA? When Most of the products available in US markets are produced in other countries, doesn't that hurt the US Jobs and US economy?  

I support the Buy American motive as I believe that would boost the economy with more employment being created locally.

My request to the Save Jobs USA would be to address the concern holistically rather than just being aggressive against just a high skilled resource pool that was being brought out to the mainstream and support the US business and economy.

Amritsar Dussehra Tragedy

With my deepest condolences to the lives lost and the families who suffered due to the loss of their near and dear ones, I would like to call out for action against the Organizers as well as the Local and District Administration who should be held responsible for the tragedy.

Though the leading media reports are highlighting the cause of tragedy to be "the train running over the people celebrating Dussehra"  specifically the way headlines on Economic Times read - Train runs over people celebrating Dussehra near Amritsar, over 60 dead. How irresponsible is that to simply sensationalize the news and implicate the railway department to this tune.

Did anyone ever think about the following aspects:

1. Why didn't organizers take safety measures to create fencing around the location of Celebration to ensure that crowd doesn't spill over the Railway tracks?
2. Why did Administration not deploy security personnel near the Railway tracks to ensure that crowd doesn't spill over the Railway tracks?
3. Why didn't organizers and administration inform the railway officials to ensure that they could issue caution notice to the train drivers and deploy a 20-40 rule while crossing the celebration area?

From what I reviewed on the videos available, I couldn't place the responsibility of accident on the Railway department as I found it to be the total mismanagement by the Organizers and the Local as well as District Administration teams.

One more thing that I would like to highlight is the Law that prohibits Walking, Crossing or doing anything on Railway tracks that is the property of the Railway department.  It is a punishable offense to either stand, sit, cross or walk on the railway tracks.  So, certainly, Railway Department is NOT responsible for the tragedy from the perspective I look at.

It indeed is a saddening misshape that cause loss of valuable human life and it would require a lot of understanding and common sense to prevail.  Media also should behave responsible to not write headlines that would prove to be provocative in this case.  

One headline that can be called a responsible reporting - 

Amritsar train accident LIVE UPDATES: 61 dead; 'Railways had no info about Dussehra festivities near site'

Overall, action must be taken against the Organizing committee as well as the Local and District Administration to this effect for their responsibilities. It is their failure that lead to this tragedy and that cause loss valuable human life.

Concepts of Marketing - Types or Forms

Marketing is such a broad topic to cover in today's world that there is absolute confusion between the types / form of Marketing Strategy that is adopted by the corporates.  It is interesting as well as annoying to see masses resorting to common definitions for the various types of Marketing.  Interesting because they are naive to understand the difference and annoying because it may hurt the business sentiments.

It therefore is very important and critical for the Marketers to define the boundaries and explain the difference. They need to be savy about taking this training and awareness to the masses in one or other form.  It is important that they educate the masses between the difference and remove that commonality from the definition perspective.

With this article, I am trying to instigate that process to help marketers create that awareness drive for the masses to understand the difference between the most common Marketing Strategies that corporates use: viz - Reseller Marketing; Direct Marketing; Multi-Level Marketing; Pyramid Marketing. The terms used are some of the commonly misunderstood aspects of marketing.

Reseller Marketing: The form of Marketing that follows a Wholesale to Retail Chain of Command that can be a Multi-Level or Pyramid from the perspective of Geographical Territories as may be defined and distributed by the Corporate.  This type of Marketing Strategies require large quantities to be ordered, processed, stored and exchange multiple hands before reaching the final consumer.  The reason I have categorized this into Multi-level / Pyramid marketing because in this right from the Origin of the Product to Final Consumer the product moves from following layers - 

a.) Company

b.) Distributor

c.) Wholesaler

d.) Retailer

Now, it is important to note that Right from the Company to Retailer, it forms Multiple Layers as well as Pyramid, with the Company making the most margin and Retailer making the least margin.  The Money and product have reverse path where product moves from Company to Distributor to Wholesaler to Retailer to Consumer, whereas Money movers in reverse form.  However, be cautious that there is a chance of Duplicate products getting introduced in the lot with negative customer sentiments hurting the company due to quality issues in the duplicate products.

Direct Marketing: This is probably considered as the unconventional marketing route as in this case the company cuts out every and every layer between them and the consumer.  Certainly, the profit maximization works for the company and the company is able to pass on that cost arbitrage to the Consumer either directly or indirectly. The way this marketing initiative is organized and used is pretty subjective to perception, but the corporates who have actually implemented this in near perfect form, have made fortune.  No doubts, the ghost of being Unconventional has always haunted this form of Marketing and the way the Cost arbitrage has been passed on to the consumers have been questioned multiple times.  For instance, the referral bonuses paid for successful conversions have often been referenced with negative marketing gimmicks. But one thing needs to be noted for Direct Marketing - You could be a Reseller or Reference Provider, but the Company ships product directly to the consumer with company liability for any order processing/storage/shipment/payment etc. Unlike Direct Marketing, the money doesn't flow from consumer to retailer to wholesaler to distributor to company.  Chances of Duplicity and Poor Quality is ruled out to a large extent with a Direct channel between the company and the consumer. Direct Marketing's success is more from the enablement to consume and sell rather than hire/recruit resellers

Multi-Level-Marketing: This could be either Reseller Marketing or Direct Marketing, but the thin line that separates it from the Direct Marketing initiative is - In Direct Marketing there is no concept of Recruitment for the downline reseller.  There is a choice of being a Reseller based on one's interest and wish to succeed; a Direct Marketer would certainly not want to reduce one's margin by recruiting a downline reseller.  However, in Multi-Level-Marketing there indeed is a Recruitment aspect hidden somewhere in the overall business theme.  Recruit and build a team to expand the business.  This turns out to be the similar aspect as the Reseller Marketing with top level running the whole chain as his kingdom.  Success at the top depends on how many have been recruited by the guys down below. Sales is an after-effect.

Pyramid Marketing: I tried to put my mind behind this aspect, but haven't really been able to understand this from the core marketing perspective.  What I have seen in this case of marketing is Top is heavy with Profits and the lower ranks are heavier with the overall sales numbers.  From where  I see this one, how-much-ever one would sell, the most benefit would be for the guy at the top.  Not something that see a long term success and not something where the downstream businesses stay for a longer term.

General Elections 2019 - India

Indian Political system has picked up the momentum towards the General Elections 2019.  It is very interesting that every political party is geared towards ensuring that the current ruling party in Center is defeated and for that purpose all the coalitions are being considered.  Though the main coalitions that exist today standing against BJP led coalition NDA is UPA, but we may see a few more from the regional perspective and then combining them on central perspective.  This could be a good development only if the voters / citizens are benefited and the coalition parties work together towards progress of the country.

Though I have my reservation that the mismatched coalitions would not sustain the test on the floor for their ideologies differ and the only things that's bringing them together is the motive to defeat BJP led NDA.  To be successful, there always is a need for mapping the ideologies and goals that are constructive and positive in nature, negative goals certainly don't help.  In politics, the typical understanding that "My Opposition's Opposition is on My Side" doesn't necessarily work.

From where the situation needs to be assessed and the way social media particularly is buzzing with anti-BJP sentiments with all the sorts of negative news being highlighted, the current opposition parties are not helping themselves to garner the votes. They actually are aligning on the negative axis, and the young voters of India do understand the Two negatives not necessarily align to get one positive.  Anti-BJP sentiments would trigger BJP highlighting its good work and the positives the it has brought to the economy and the way nation got benefitted with whatever BJP did.  Now, at this juncture, it certainly would be the progressive aspects highlighted that would garner more votes and the feel that if a party in Particular has done so much in so short a timespan, then that party should be in the center to take the nation forward.

On the contrary, the negative campaign being run by the opposition would harm them only for they are not stating what they would do in this case and How would they make things better in the areas where they are trying to highlight the lack of governance oversight by BJP - the current ruling party.  The time has gone when we used to think on one stream and may be there are still a few who think or act on those lines like Religious divide and caste based approach.  The current generation thinks more positively and in constructive manner and looks at the 360 degree rather than having myopic view on the negative sentiments.

In reality, need of the time is to unite for the progress of India. Even if the Opposition fails the floor test, they needs to unite for Constructive Criticism and not for the negative criticism as they are involved right now.  What we see at present is negative criticism with no suggestion on how to better things; they are just focused on why the things are wrong, not where things can be better. As state earlier, this would not help them win the general elections in 2019.

On the other side, BJP would need to ensure that it reaches out to its cadres across the states and teaches the to behave responsibly so the the negative news is no more available.  There is a need to address the negative news right where is could generate rather than trying to curb it once it has generated.  Social Media is very strong and reality can traverse faster than not along with the Rumor Monger news.

Societal Changes

When it comes to anything and everything, we start pointing fingers at the Government and we start pointing fingers at the Prime Minister.  What do we think is Governments’ responsibility? To enforce policy and to enforce law and order? No, that is something that Bureaucrats and Police is supposed to be doing. Government is Law Maker and needs to ensure that the Law is followed adequately and appropriately. I guess most of us would not align with the aspect, but that’s fine, differences are bound to be there and that’s good otherwise neither of us is going to learn something new.

Coming to the most talked about set of incidents, “Rape” in India, well, it certainly is the most condemnable act and when committed against minors, it is indeed a sin for which death is the only verdict. But then, would a death verdict be enough to clean the societal trend of rape? No, it is not because Rapes don’t occur just out of blue; they are committed by those who are mentally sick and do not know what respect means in the society.  These are the set of individuals who are dealing with low Self Esteem and Inferiority Complex and to counter that, they commit that crime.  Now, many out there would challenge my previous statement, but I would leave it to them to accept it or counter it. What I would focus on is the probable aspects that can be attributed as the cause of actual number of cases v/s reported number of cases.

The case is not just of India, rather is across the world that the Rapist is not sentenced by law as much as the victim is by the society and the media.  What happens as the debate on rape by the traditional as well as social media is nothing but discussing the aspects of how the victim was traumatized, without even realizing that the discussion and mention of the rape as well as victims’ reference adds to the trauma of the victim. 

The societal tendency of pointing fingers at the victim and accusing the lifestyle of the victim does nothing much but add to the trauma of victim.  Do you really think that the lifestyle of a minor say a 2 year, 4 year or 6 year old would be something that would attract the perpetrator?  Hell, No, it is the sick mentality of perpetrator, the way I mentioned earlier, is responsible for that crime. 

Coming to the Police and the Court halls, there also, the cops and the lawyers don’t do the best to help the victim, but they carry on the impact of rape by seeking answers to some really lead questions; some actually go to the limit of seeking minute details of the incident and add to the trauma of the victim. 

Points as discussed above do nothing but restrain the Rape victims to go out there and report the crime.  More so, it boosts the morale of those perpetrators in many cases where the victim retracts after filing a report and the perpetrator making pun on the law by walking free.

What I feel is that these aspects as highlighted above would need let even the death penalty would not be able to put a restraint on the act of Rape.  Until we as the society regroup and rework on the aspects of what is highlighted above, we never would be able to eradicate Rape as a crime.  There can’t be an immediate solution to the Rape, but there certainly can be an antidote that would result in longer run rather than immediate case.  

We should start from the first part of “Not Accepting” traumatization by Media, Police and Cops; rather we should work together to stand with the victim to not let that trauma extend beyond the incident.  Additionally, as a society, we need to put pressure on Jury to NOT permit post rape marriage between the perpetrator and the victim; as after that incident of rape, self esteem of the victims goes so low that if they have to tie knot with the perpetrator, they would NEVER be able to grow out from the trauma.  Moreover, what would be the opinion of Jury where a group rape is committed by 5 married men?  Certainly, its time to change the society first before seeking Death Penalty for Rape.

Legacy of H4 Visa

The day when the H4 Visa was created, least the regulators knew that they are creating a path of career destruction for millions. The Country, that has its base in immigrants and that has its most innovative developments initiated by immigrants actually made a gruesome mistake of barring immigrants from working, just because they were married to highly skilled immigrants in specialized roles.

What the regulators forgot then was the core that most if not all of the H4 dependents actually would be equally if not higher skilled and specialized as their H1B spouses would be.  And we all agree on this point as this is not the first time anyone is writing an article of this nature.  However, a partial relief came in during Obama regime when an executive order enabled H4 dependent spouses of H1B visa holders to obtain Employment Authorization (EAD) provided their spouses had their I-140 approved.  But others were still kept away from the "right to work". Strange isn't it that the H4 spouses who were working professionals before they moved to this country are treated as second grade unwanted residents although with their skills and specialization, they would actually generate more jobs and would add to the "Income Tax" paying population of the country.  Ah, but regulators and those opposing H4 EAD wouldn't be able to see this or should we say that they are blindfolded with what is politically correct thought and wave for them?

When "Save Jobs America" campaigns against H4 EAD or for that matter against the H1Bs also, why does it forget that on an average, US has shortfall of Skilled IT resources and in some work domains, the skills are far too less than what the actual demand is.  I can state this from my own experience where I have witnessed some insane hourly rate demands because some basic skills that are required in the trade have become "Niche Skills" just because the demand surged way past what the supply is. More so, the College Grads coming out will not be able to meet the requirements both by the sheer difference in Demand v/s Supply and by the experience required in those trade.  This doesn't mean that College Grads would not be good for those jobs, they would be, but then they would make a fresh head start rather than bringing their experience on the Subject Matter. This for sure is something that needs to be considered by the regulators before overturning the H4 EAD decision.

I am sure that the economic viability assessment that would have been conducted would provide far more insight with statistical data that certainly most of the Bloggers would not be able to collate.  The aspect that the US regulators need to note, understand, accept and acknowledge before making any adverse changes to the H4 EAD is - "What is more beneficial for the Country at large rather than what is Politically Correct?"  Indeed many a times the decisions are taken based on the Political Benefits and on the basis of What is Politically Correct, and such decisions never help in the Economic Growth.  

Regulators must also look at the aspect - "If L2 dependent of on L1 Visa Holder can get Employment Authorization, why should H4 Dependent only be barred from that Right to Work?  H4 dependents are as skilled and educated as the L2 dependents are and by no means should be restricted to the confines of their home. This if represented well in the Court of Law would become a challenging task for the government to answer, because this is where they themselves are back stabbing Right of Equality and the Diversity Program they advertise as the base of Right to Work.  And yeah, without explaining this, the Government would not be able to repeal L2 EADs as it would be another Political and Legal Challenge for them to face.

Legacy of Indian Media

Press or News Media, the way we should address it now a days is considered to be the Fourth Pillar or Democracy.  But, looking at Indian Media it so feels like it is another Ponzi Drama Organization bringing in one or another distasteful Ponzi news to us.  Today they show what gets them better TRP; why better TRP, because better TRP means more advertisement business as better TRP would mean better viewer reach.

Lets take a look at the recent news that they have been covering - 

1. Congress demanding Fair and reasonable treatment to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau

2. Untimely death of first female superstar from Indian movies

What Indian media covered in the above news is the way Narendra Modi government gave a cold shoulder to the Canadian counterpart, but then failed to cover WHY? Interesting because that WHY was not as sensational news as it would ensure that Narendra Modi government is actually applauded for that.  Until the Canadian as well as International media started covering it from the perspective of Failed visit of the Canadian PM.  

Yes, the visit of Canadian PM to India was treated in the manner it should have been treated.  Canadian PM stood with forces demanding Khalistan and the forces that would want to divide India.  More so, he had mentioned that the protest by the Khalistan supporters was in-line with the Canadian Laws....Did I hear that as political appeasement of the vote bank that now matters a lot in Canadian politics?  

What Mr. Justin Trudeau missed that sovereignty of India is prime for Indian Prime Minister and he as well as Indian citizens would never tolerate anyone who supports separatists on this or any other land.  The treatment meted out was perfect and had the right effect with the World media excluding Indian media was actually saying absolutely the same - "Failed India Visit of Canadian Prime Minister".  Only the Indian media was engaged in shaming the government and broadcasting the demand of Congress leaders on giving adequate honor to the Canadian Prime Minister.  Well, adequate or not is not sure, but he got appropriate honor that aligned with his policy towards Khalistan and Khalistanies. 

On death of the famous yesteryears star from Indian movies, the Media - one and all, actually were engaged in voyeuristic, ghoulish and insensitive coverage. The way they handled the overall news and the way they blew it out of proportion is really insane.  The representations, the language and the tone used was really one of the worst reporting standard that I have ever witnessed that too involving a news on death.  I am surprised the amount of research they did, the amount of conspiracy theories they came out with and the amount of versions of the same case went out as a story.  It was sounding as if every of the news anchor is narrating some piece of drama story.

By all the perspectives I looked at or pondered over the two stories, it just reaffirmed to me that the Indian Media is going down the trend of responsible organizations and are headed to make the mulla by hook or crook.  Moreover, they sound more to be the political mouth piece of one or political outfit or political party.

Most of the Media groups have lost their creditability in current context as most of them have forgotten to praise the good efforts of the government and are inclined to highlight only the misses, or the negative points, even if there is NO merit in them.  

Another typical case is of the petrol prices in South Asia where Business Standard is still stating that the petrol prices are costliest in India. Now this is a clearly a false statement as Indian media missed the bus that there are other sites also that provide more accurate information to us including the GlobalPetrolprices.com that published the latest rates on February 26, 2018 and are accessible at https://www.globalpetrolprices.com/benchmark/

So, am sure the legacy of Indian Media has changed a big time from where they started as the front line fourth pillar to where they are doing the dirty laundry of the Political Organizations or trying to mint money by sensationalization of the news.
