Growing up with Age

We all certainly grow up in age, but that also results in us growing up on ego and attitude.  There is no harm to have ego and attitude, but that needs to be in the right place, not everywhere and not with everyone.  It is important and while we grow in age, we also come to age and accept the politeness and courtesy as demanded by the world.  Indeed, the world would neither accept our ego nor would it honor our attitude, if both were in wrong place, for the wrong reason and with wrong timing.

Having attitude is indeed a good thing if we are able to control the expression and aggression associated and ensure that the attitude is put to right use at the right time and to achieve the right results.  It is always suggested to ensure that our attitude doesn't rise to our head and guide us on the path of self destruction.

With respect to ego, well everyone has ego, some conquer it and many lose out to it.  those who conquer ego come out as shining and successful in their life.  They might at times get offended, get hurt and get bowed down, but in the end it is they, who we call victorious.  For those who get conquered by ego, they bite the dust down the lane of life and are always out there to insult and hut others. Ego is once again somewhere related to respect, so in my view, where there is respect & self respect, there is no ego and where there is ego, there is no respect.  So we do have to conquer our ego for the purpose of being respected, being successful and be victorious in our lives.

However, it is important to also ensure that Ego should not die and the Attitude should not vanish, they are important for our survival.  A right mix would always help in defining our persona and character to get there, where we want or where we desire to be.

Women and Indian Society

The Indian Society that today is raising its voice against the derogatory remarks by the two lawyers is very much right from the perspective of raising their voice against the retards.  Any person not just an Indian but any where in the world must understand one thing that however rich the traditions and culture be, they can't survive without Women. Women are integral part of our cultural system and in effect hold pivotal position.

Women in the Indian Cultural and Mythology symbolize - 

1. Power - Shakti in form of Durga, Kali, Ranchandi and others similar
2. Education and Literary arts - Saraswati
3. Money and Fame - Laxmi
4. Provider of Food - Annapurna / Parvati
5. Sanctity - Ganges / Ganga

These are just a few examples that can be raised. These actually provide the depth of reliance of Indian Society that primarily is based on the Hindutva Mythology.  If we date back in the History, we would find that the Indian Society always worshiped the power and sanctity of women and they never ever showed any disrespect to women - e.g. Per Ramayana, though Ravan the king of Lanka abducted Lord's Ram's wife Sita, he didn't even try to touch her against her will.  She was not taken to his Palace, rather was kept in a outhouse in his Garden (Ashok Vatika).  He didn't show any disrespect to her or outrage her modesty. That was the high of Indian Society. Then during the Mahabharata time, the respect of for Women could be witnessed in the form that when Dushashan attacked Draupadi's modesty, Lord Krishna came to her side and save her modesty.  She was not punished for that, rather the entire Kauravas had to pay ht price that they were punished and they perished to the might of Pandavas.  Though the incident where Pandavas lost Draupadi in gambling, they never let her modesty be compromised and then they fought for the disrespect shown by Kauravas.

From there, we always have witness high regards for the Women as per Indian Society. None of the ancient Indian scripts ever mention words that may symbolize Rape, Molestation, Outraging the Modesty of Woman etc.  That was never the culture and tradition of this land. Women in that time were free to participate in wars, politics and any other field where they wished to.  There was no hard and fast rule that they had to abide by certain homely routine only.

Those, who refer to the same culture and say that the Indian Culture had no pace for Women or Women should abide by Male egoist's wishes are certainly not those who understand the Indian Culture.

There is enough evidence in the History that would clearly suggest when these restrictions creeped in the social structure and why they creeped in.  The plunderers and attackers from the west were the first one's to introduce rape and victimize Women in India.  So certainly those who think that Women invite rape are those retards whose mentality is a byproduct of those Barbarians and Plunderers. 

It is important that each one of us enthuses the old Indian Culture where Men and Women in this land were equal.  There was no restriction on the Women and they were free birds. Veil etc were never part of their attire and they participated in society on equal terms.

We all need to help them get the same status and need to ensure that the Retards like Rapists and those who think Indian Society has no place for Women are taught their lesson. In effect it is such people who outrage the modesty of People who should be thrown away from the Social Circuits and they are the ones who have no place in any Society.

Joy of Sharing

A test that was conducted as part of social experiment and that asserts that those who have more don't wanna spare as they think they would then have less than what they have at current......

And those who don't have anything or those who don't have much are not afraid as they are the ones who dig when they are thirsty...they know they have nothing to loose.....and they believe in god and sharing....they know that sharing is divine....

Joy of sharing is something that many of us modern day people don't know....we are too conservative and selfish to share anything from our joy to our food to our knowledge.....Most of us have forgotten the older saying - Sharing increases your portion......people now actually have started completing the saying by adding their own perceptions....

It's high time for us to Learn to Share and Learn to earn the Joy of Sharing.....

हिंदुत्व के गुणकारी प्रभाव

हिंदुत्व के बारे में अलग अलग लोगों की अलग अलग विचारधारा है| कुछ इसे अत्यधिक सहनशील धर्म मानते हैं तो कुछ इसे रूडिवादी ठहराते हैं| १९९२ में अयोध्या के अध्याय के बाद हिंदुत्व को लोगों ने और भी नकारात्मक दृष्टि से देखना शुरू किया| २००२ में गोधरा काण्ड के बाद गुजरात में प्रज्वलित हिंसात्मक विचारधारा ने हिंदुत्व के बारे में लोगो की नकारात्मक विचारधारा को और भी बल दिया| किन्तु क्या हिंदुत्व वास्तव में इतना हीन धर्म है? अगर इस प्रश्न का विश्लेषण किया जाए तो उत्तर होगा - "नहीं"| हिंदुत्व में बुराइयां नहीं अच्छाइयां ही अच्छाइयां हैं| 

यदि हम हिंदुत्व के बारे में ग्रंथों में पढ़ें तो पाएंगे कि हिंदुत्व से बढ़कर वैज्ञानिक धर्म और कोई नहीं है| पर-धर्म आक्रमण ने प्रगतिशील हिंदुत्व को पतन की और मोड़ दिया एवं बदलते समय के साथ हिंदुत्व के लाभदायक गुणों को हमने खुद भुला दिया| आज हम मांसाहार, मदिरापान अत्यादी जैसी आदतों से परिपूर्ण हिंसात्मक प्रवत्ति के शिकार हो गए हैं| किन्तु क्या कभी हम हिंदुत्व के बारे में पढ़कर हिंदुत्व की अच्छाइयों को संसार के सामने लाने के बारे में विचार करते हैं? उत्तर साधारणतया "नहीं" ही होगा|

मेरे इस लेख में मैं हिंदुत्व की चंद लाभदायक बातों का विश्लेषण कर उन्हें संसार के सामने प्रस्तुत करने की चेष्टा कर रहा हूँ| यदि आप रूचि रखते हैं तो आगे पढ़े एवं हो सके तो इस लेख को अपने परिजनों एवं मित्रो को भी पढाएं|

हिंदुत्व के गुणकारी प्रभाव - 

१. स्वास्थ्य की महत्वता

अन्य धर्मों से अलग हिंदुत्व जीने कि एक राह दिखता है| हिंदुत्व आपको स्वस्थ रहने के तरीके सिखाता है| योग-अभ्यास, प्रतिदिन स्नान-ध्यान, मांसाहार से दूरी इत्यादि नियम आपका स्वास्थय संतुलित रखते हैं एवं आप निरोगी काया के स्वामी बन निरोगी जीवन जी सकते हैं| स्वास्थय समन्धित अन्य नियमों में धर एवं आस-पड़ोस में स्वछता बनाये रखने का नियम भी अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है|

२. संसार में शान्ति का प्रचार

हिंदुत्व में हम ये कभी नहीं सुनते कि केवल एक हिन्दू ही स्वर्ग में जाएगा अथवा केवल हिन्दुओं के भगवन ही तारक हैं...इत्यादि इत्यादि| हिंदुत्व तो केवल यही कहता है कि आप अपने कर्मों को इसी जनम में भुगत के जाओगे, कि सारे पथ अंत में एक ही ब्रह्म में विलीन होंगे| 

ॐ असतो मा सद्गमय

तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय 

मृत्योर्माम्रतम गमय 

ॐ शांति शांति शंतिही||

यदि आप स्मरण करने का कास्ट करेंगे तो केवल हिंदुत्व में ही कहा जाता है - 

सर्वे भवन्तु सुखिनः सर्वे सन्तु निरामयः

सर्वे भद्राणि पश्यन्तु, माँ कश्चित् दुःख भाग्भवेत||

३. वातावरण के प्रति निष्ठां

यदि आप इस बात पर ध्यान दें कि कितने मंदिरों के प्रांगन में उद्यान होते हैं, पेड़ पोधे लगे होते हैं, शीतलता का अनुभव होता है, तो आप स्वयं इस बात को नहीं नकारेंगे कि हिंदुत्व सही में वातावरण प्रियता को बढ़ावा देता है| हिंदुत्व में पेड़ पोधो को जो महत्वता दी गयी है उसका यदि विश्लेषण किया जाए तो अपने आप आपको ज्ञात होगा कि वट-वृक्ष, पीपल एवं तुलसी के अपने गुणकारी प्रभाव होते हैं एवं उनका अपना एक महत्व है| साथ ही ताम्बुल का उपयोग भी स्वथ्कारी गुणों में सम्मिलित होता है| 

यदि पेड़ पोधो से हट हम जीव जंतुओं के प्रति हिंदुत्व के व्यवहार को देखें तो पाएंगे कि हिंदुत्व में ना केवल गाय को, अपितु सिंह एवं सर्प को भी वाही सम्मान एवं आदर मिलता है| मुझे आज भी स्मरित है कि घर में पहली रोटी गाय की एवं फिर कुत्ते की और उसके बाद अन्य परिजनो के लिए रोटियाँ बनती हैं| इससे यही प्रतीत होता है कि हिंदुत्व में घर एवेम घर के बहार रह रहे जीवों का भी ध्यान रखने के विचार को प्रोत्साहित किया गया है||

४ कला के प्रति रुझान 

हिंदुत्व में कला को प्रोत्साहित करने का अपना भाव है| हिंदुत्व में कलाकारों को प्रोत्साहित किया जाता है एवं उन्हें आगे बढ़ने के लिए प्रेरित भी किया जाता है| नृत्य एवं संगीत का हिंदुत्व में अपना अलग स्थान है एवं हर त्यौहार में नृत्य एवं संगीत को सम्मिलित किया जाता है| यह कहना अतिश्योक्ति नहीं होगी कि हिन्दू त्यौहार बिना नृत्य अथवा संगीत के माने नहीं जा सकते| हिंदुत्व की हर शाखा में नृत्य एवेम संगीत कला का अपना एक अलग प्रारूप है एवं हर प्रारूप का अपना एक अलग ही आनंदमयी अनुभूति है|

५. स्त्री प्रारूप की वंदना

हिंदुत्व में स्त्रियों को उंचा स्थान दिया जाता है| घर के हर बड़े / छोटे निर्णय लेने में उनके विचार भी समझे जाते हैं| हिंदुत्व में देवताओं के स्त्री प्रारूप "देवियों" की भी पूजा अर्चना की जाती है| सम्पूर्ण समाज में स्त्रियों को सम्मिलित कर उनको आदर सहित, भावनापूर्ण सम्मान दिया जाता है|

केवल हिंदुत्व में ही स्त्री के परित्याग को समाज पति का दोष मानता है| पत्नी परित्याग की प्रथा भी मूलतः हिन्दू प्रथा नहीं है|

६. हिन्दू ग्रन्थ 

हिन्दू ग्रन्थ एवं शाश्त्र अपने आप में स्वस्थ एवं शांतिपूर्ण दिनचर्या का महत्व हमारे सामने रखते हैं| जैसा कि मैंने उपरोक्त पन्तियों में लिखा है, हिन्दू ग्रन्थ वैज्ञानिक सोच एवं समझ को बढ़ावा देते हैं| यदि हम सहस्त्रों को सही समझ के साथ दैनिक प्रयोग में सम्मिलित करें तो हमारे जीवन एवं आचरण का उत्थान ही होगा|

७. परिवर्तन के लिए कोई दबाव नहीं

हिंदुत्व में अन्य धर्मो की तरह धर्म परिवर्तन के लिए किसी पर कोई दबाव नहीं हिय जाता| हिंदुत्व में मंदिरों में अथवा धर्म सभाओं के प्रवचनों में धर्म परिवर्तन नहीं "आत्म परिवर्तन" का प्रचार किया जाता है|

८. कोई कठोर हठधर्मिता नहीं

हिंदुत्व अपने आप में नरमपंथी है| हिंदुत्व में कोई कठोर नियम नहीं हैं एवं यह केवल और केवल आपके ऊपर निर्भर करता है की आप क्या करना चाहते हैं| हिंदुत्व में बलपूर्वक अथवा छलपूर्वक आपसे नियमों का अभ्यास नहीं करवाया जाता| हिंदुत्व में यह भी नहीं कहा जाता कि अमुक दिन मंदिर जाना है अथवा अमुक दिन नहीं जाना है| हिंदुत्व पूर्णतया आत्मचिंतन एवं स्वनियम के सिधान्तों को महत्व देता है| 

९. जीव जंतुओं का आदर करना

जैसा के पहले भी लिखा है, हिंदुत्व केवल मित्र एवं परिजनों के आदर का ही भाव नहीं देता, अपितु यह सर्वजन आदर एवं कल्याण की भावना का प्रचार करता है| केवल हिंदुत्व में ही सर्वजन को देवत्व का प्रारूप माना गया है एवं यह माना गया है कि हर जीव में देव बसते हैं| हिंदुत्व में "नमस्कार" अर्थात "नमन संस्कार" का मूल कारण ही यही है कि सर्व जन में उपस्थित देवत्व को नमन / प्रणाम किया जाता है| हर जीव में देव प्रारूप का आदर करना ही हिंदुत्व का सार है|

१०. हिन्दू विधि-विधान 

हिन्दू विधि विधान अपने आपमें एक वैज्ञानिक प्रयोग हैं| यदि हम विश्लेषण करें तो हर श्लोक, हर चालीसा, हर आरती को पढ़ने का एवं उच्चारित करने का अपना एक विधान होता है| कुछ विशिष्ट उदहारण - 

• ॐ का उच्चारण पूर्णतया श्वास पथ का व्यायाम प्रारूप है| ॐ की सिद्धि नाभि से ले कर मष्तिष्क तक का व्यायाम कहा गया है 
• हवन भी अपने आपमें एक वैघ्यानिक प्रयोग है| हवन के उपयोग में लाइ जाने वाली हर सामग्री एवं हवन प्रज्ज्वलन से होम तक हर प्रक्रिया वैज्ञानिक रूप से महत्व रखती है| हवन अपने आपमें वातावरण शुद्धिकरण का एक प्रयोग है|| 
• हनुमान चालीसा का पाठ शरीर में ऊर्जा एवं साहस का संचार करता है 
• गायत्री मंत्र अपने आप में एक प्राणायाम है 

११. हिन्दू त्यौहार 

हिंदुत्व में त्यौहार लोगों को मिलाने का कार्य करते हैं| साथ ही यदि हम त्योहारों पर गौर करें तो सारे त्यौहार कृषि-प्रधान एवं ऋतू बदलाव का समागम हैं| हर त्यौहार उल्लास एवं ऊर्जा संचारित करता है एवं कुछ क्षणों / दिनों के लिए ही सही, कास्ट एवं पीड़ा मुक्त करता है|

यदि हम कुछ त्योहारों का विश्लेषण करें तो पाएंगे कि हिंदुत्व पहला ऐसा धर्म है जिसमें वित्तीय-वर्ष समाप्ति का प्रावधान है| दीवाली पर वैश्य अपने नए बहीखाते शुरू करते हैं| इसी प्रकार होली, दशहरा, नवरात्री एवं अन्य त्योहारों का अपना एक ओचित्य है|

When I Almost Lost Her

Traveling sometimes can be really taxing, but the recent travel I undertook with my sweetheart was more than that for me.  During the transit, I had to leave her at point A when I told her that I would finish my work and meet her at point B from where we were supposed to start the next leg of our journey.  It was just a matter of couple of hrs and the confident person she is, I knew she would be able to take care of herself for those couple of hrs.  I though was a bit scared too as the place was new for her though not for me.  I dropped her at the point from where she was to take the transit bus to point B and left to finish the business that I was to take care of.

After finishing the business, I found my way to point B and reached well in time. It was still 1.5 hrs from the time we were to leave and there began my ordeal.  I went up and down the entire building to locate her, but to no avail.  Went to the Information Desk to seek help for announcement, but they denied; Requested Security to help, but they denied too sighting Security reasons...so clumsy ones though...I actually made almost 5 odd rounds of the location to locate her, but she was no where to be seen.  Went to the departures there again she was not to be found.  Too worried, too tensed spoke to the services and they said they will check, they asked for the pic too if they find her around....Finally someone came to my help...

As they looked around and as they were helping me, I just turned around in all my low spirits to just see her coming my way from the escalator opposite to me.  My legs accumulated the strength from no where, my minds rushed with feelings, my hands picked up the Bag I was carrying and I rushed to her...Just to her.  Finding her right in front of me, hugged her to make myself believe that She is there....She was amazed at my reaction and I was too happy to speak as I finally found her after an ordeal of more than an hr....I thanked the services and the guy there told my love about the state I was in.  Not ready to leave without my love, my wife....

That 1.5 hrs when I was looking for her made me feel the most miserable in recent times.  I felt I almost lost her, but Gods had better plan in store for me....She was back and she was in my arms to be with me forever...

हर किसी को नहीं मिलता

"हर किसी को नहीं मिलता यहाँ प्यार जिंदगी में"

आज सालों बाद जांबाज़ फिल्म का ये गाना सुना| इस गाने में एक कशिश है, एक दर्द है और दो दिलों के बीच परवान ना चढ़े प्यार की एक कहानी है|  गाना जितना मधुर है, इसमें उतना ही कड़वा सच है|

अक्सर हम सोचते हैं कि जिंदगी में हम जिससे प्यार करते हैं और जिसको हम चाहते हैं वो हमें क्यों नहीं मिलता?  हम भूल जाते हैं कि हम उसे चाहते हैं, पर क्या वो हमें चाहते हैं?  हम ये जानने की कोशिश नहीं करते हैं कि अगर वो हमारी खुशी है तो उनकी खुशी क्या है?  प्यार सिर्फ पाने का नाम नहीं है, प्यार एक बंदगी है, एक प्रार्थना है, एक इबादत है|  अगर हमें हमारा प्यार नहीं मिला तो क्या, हम जीना छोड़ देंगे? क्या हमें अपने प्यार में अपनी ही खुशी देखनी चाहिए? नहीं, प्यार सिर्फ पाने का नाम नहीं है| प्यार में हमें अपनी खुशियों कि कुर्बानी देने के लिए भी तैयार होना चाहिए| जिससे हम प्यार करते हैं, उसकी खुशियों की खातिर झुक कर उसके रास्ते से अलग होना और फिर भी उसे खुश देखने के लिए जीना भी अपने में एक मिसाल है|

कि नादाँ परिंदे से कोई खता नहीं हुई

पर पसारने से पहले गर 

आसमां की ऊँचाई नाप लेता

तो शायद यूँ बेआसरा ना होता वो

फ़रियाद उसकी खुदा सुन तो लेता

गर वो खुदा की नेमत ना परखता

यूँ पर पसार जिंदगी की बुलंदी ना चुनता

होंसला रख गर वो अपनी राह चलता

मायूस हुआ गर है आज परिंदा

तो उसमें खुदा की नाराजगी नहीं है

दुआ बस यही करते हैं हम आज उनसे

कि बद्दुआ ना दे किसी को सजा की

Do Good to Other's at Your Own Cost

Abstract from Mayank's mail 

There are certain aspects of life which do disturb us a lot.  At times We happen to come across someone whom we trust and whom we respect a lot.  We happen to think that doing good to those who need our help always bears fruitful results.  And at times we forget two key learning that are including a definitive proverb and a shlok from Bhagvad Gita - 

a

1. नेकी कर दरिया में डाल - Once you have done good to others, throw your good deeds in the sea

2. कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन - Believe in your deed and never expect a return

From the recent happenings in one of my friend's life, I learned one thing and that is to never forget the two learning as stated above.  

Happy Republic Day - 2012

The time I am writing this is the time when India is gearing up for celebration its 63rd Republic Day and completion of the Country to be the Sovereign Socialist Secular Democratic Republic of India.  I wish all my fellow Citizens a Happy Republic Day and wish you all would gear towards ensuring that the Country remains Sovereign, Socialist, Secular and Democratic till eternity.

The reason I say that you all would be geared towards ensuring that the four basic principles of the existence of our country remain intact because of the following reasons -

1. The Country is Sovereign from any external power, but we are still Slaves of Corruption.  Indeed we are the eternal slaves of Corruption.  Starting from a normal work at the Municipal Office to the Highest Levels of Governance, our country is a slave of Corruption.  We all complain about it, crib about it, but when the time comes for us to align to the practice of NOT paying Bribe, we simply look in other directions and pay the "under the table charges".  Shri Anna Hazare has started a movement, so we need to ensure that the Lamp of the Movement is always burning and the pressure on government is always there from the Citizens Charter to eradicate Corruption from the roots of our country.  Come Join me today to eradicate take a Vow to Never Bow in front of the Corruption.
2. The Country is very much Socialist, but there is a lot of pressure from the Private Organizations and there are certain quarters of the Industrial India that want India to be moving towards Capitalist form.  Let's ensure that the Socialist face of India is always maintained as it helps ensure that there is all round development of the country with equal employment opportunity.  We need to ensure that the Country stands tall to its basic values to ensure that the Weak and Poor sections of the country are taken care of.  But again at this juncture we also need to ensure that the Caste Based Reservation system is Eradicated as this is nothing but more of a Political Agenda. The time when the Reservations were introduced, it was for initial period of 20 years to help those sections progress, but over the period of last 40 years, it has been used as a Vote Bank tool.
3. The Country is certainly Secular "on papers", but deep in the mindset the Religious Fractions exist and they are pretty deep rooted in the Overall social existence of the Country.  The Politicians and the religious preachers all act in accordance to the "Divide and Rule" policy that the Britishers had introduced. Another point where we are still slaves and we need to ensure that the Country stands true to the Name Secular. On the Base ground we do not have issues with co-existence of the Religions and we celebrate all the festivals irrespective of the religious occasions.  We need to ensure that we maintain that mutual admiration, peace and harmony at all levels, irrespective of the situation and scenario.
4. We are Democratic, yes indeed, but only to the point our politicians and bureaucrats get a free hand to do as they wish and fill their coffers to the brim.  The Democracy comes to a stand still or rather turns to Anarchy as soon as one raises a voice against the fault line in the system and challenges the system.  We as the Country need to ensure that along with the Movement to eradicate Corruption, we also address the fault lines in the system that would align the work culture of government organizations and ensure that discipline is inculcated in the overall  working environment at all levels.

The Country today needs its Citizens to join the wave for a faster Development Process and stand tall on the World Stage.  On one had the world sees us as a role model of the growth we have showcased, but on the other Hand the World also sees us as one of the Most Corrupt Nation.  We need to work towards eradicating the second tag and become a Role Model for Economic Growth, Governance Structure and Strong Fundamental Values.

Happy Republic Day Once again.....

Being Away - Status v/s Sending Updates

I guess couple of days back I had updated my Facebook Status stating - "There are certain things that make us Insane and Facebook is one of them." and post that decided to take a break from visiting Facebook for some time, unknown to myself.  Declared it to friends and then have been away from Facebook, literally away, not checking the status updates or comments or anything that sorts.  I have simply moved to a world where I am not checking anything there be it messages or updates from the friends or new friend requests.. I am absolute zero on what is happening there on Facebook.

I wouldn't deny that it did seem initially that I am missing something in my daily schedule, but then I settled the routine without being around on the Facebook.  However, today when I was wrote a poem, I thought of sharing it with my Facebook friends and while doing so, I also shared few of my other poems that I had worked on in last few days.  But again that was achieved without logging on to the Facebook and without visiting my Facebook page :)

I just wanted to ensure that my friends do get an update about the posts they (might) like and that they might love to read.  But I am sure the way my friends are they would have thought that I visited Facebook page, hence thought let me write this post so that they get the update that I didn't visit Facebook page and I am still living in a world sans Facebook :))

My message to all my Facebook Friends is that I am still away and whenever they see a link to my write-ups either on my regular blog or my poems, they should take it as a message from me to them about my well-being.  And yeah, they should also take it as a message that I wanted to share some literary work with them, as I am sure most of them are not subscribed to my blogs (or do not even know that the blogs exist :P).
