Reality Check for Indians and India

This is my second article on this topic, previous one being "Indian Education System - Needs to be Overhauled" published on June 20, 2013.

The previous article and this one establishes that I have always been a critic of the Indian Education system with British Foundation in it and have always echoed that the India Education system needs to be revived from where it is today to where it was before the Foreign Attacks destroyed the then prevailing India Education system.  Gone and Forgotten are the days when India was the hub of Education with the revered universities like Takshashia and Nalanda were the prime Universities for education and had invited the best and the brightest from across India.  Now, the Indian Education system is nothing but a system that encourages rat race rather than promoting vocational practices.

This article titled "Indians study hard and get MBA, may be buy Mercedes but lack creativity: Apple co-founder Steve Woz" based on Steve Wozniak's (Apple fame) opinion relates a lot to that. I actually came across this on an FB post by a Friend Dr. Vivek Kaul and then the discussion where Dr. Kaul and one of his friend Jayati Roy exchange interesting notes.

In the FB article reference above, Dr. Kaul writes "Very few people would have worked & interacted with hundred of nationalities as I have. One of my sole reasons for this is to understand what keeps India n Indians from breaking into the big league. I thought I had worked with almost all nationalities till this Saturday when a nurse at the hospital declared she is from Reunion Island ! Stumped by her looping googley I left everything down to go to Google n know Reunion Island is a Country between Mauritius & Madagaskar with its own mini melting pot of Africans Chinese Indian & French!"

How true that we, who have worked with people of multiple nationality still get stumped by the way we get to hear about a new nation that is as tiny as may be one city in India.  Now, why is that? just because our dear education system in India is not interested to teach us the global aspects and is very much limited to the doctrine on which Britishers established it.

Dr. Kaul further writes - "let me go back to this Steve Pundit who rightly thinks Indians are not creative .
He is from Polish extraction whose forefathers must have left Poland to escape poverty as have majority of half a million Poles in UK - coming after joining the Super Welfare Club of EU in 2004 !

When you escape poverty from third world conditions , you are not exactly creative in the Einstein or Chaplin mould! Vast majority of his compatriot Poles in the UK are not exactly creative as Woznaic expects Indians to be!

Majority of Polish citizens in Great Britain are in building industry as builders , plumbers , electricians or in hospitality sector as Cleaners, waiters etc etc - not exactly a creative enterprise ! They are doing these dead end jobs to escape the high unemployment rate & poverty - exactly the same scenario from which Indians are escaping with better degrees to the West or other countries incl Middle East .
Indians are better than Woznaik's Polish cousins tho !

Indians earn much more than expat Polish manual workers with a PAYE - tax deducted at source income unlike cash in hand income of Polish workers! People have always immigrated mainly for economic or prosecution reasons - lets not kid ourselves. Irish, Jews, Dutch, & vast South East Asian immigrants all fit this bill.

Third world immigration is mainly due to same reasons .

Now coming to the other reasons of lack of creativity! Foundation of your character is laid in your primary school & home country environment!"

Indeed the last portion of the statement above refers to the lack of creative culture in Indian Education system.  Right form the childhood we are taught only limited amount that would work to make us either an Engineer (to do repetitive jobs), a Doctor, a clerk or something on the similar lines.  I remember a case where due to the geographical incline, one particular piece of construction was getting damaged at a particular height.  The Project Engineer reviewed the scenario and revised the design (thinking in a creative manner) and the structure got the strength required as there as a curve introduced.  Interestingly, that was not honored and that Project Engineer was alleged of malpractice and he hence resigned from job.  The management of the organization was least concerned about the good work done, but was more concerned that the structures revised architecture increased the cost. How funny or should I actually call it tragic??

Taking another example where creative thinking is culled by Indian Education system - A student never wanted to be an engineer or a doctor, he wanted to be an artist. Though he was academically an ace of his batch, he was more inclined in theatre, but the peer pressure and the pressure from his teachers went on so much that he had to give in to prove that he excels in studies forgetting his theatre dream. Thanks to the Education System to this effect.  If it would have been an education institute in west, as Dr. Kaul refers in his words - "Primary school education is a revelation in the West. It is in the most friendly atmosphere that western kids are nurtured by an army of happy smiling teachers & teaching assistants. No home work is ever provided & no test given for next class admission. Everyone eats the same decent State provided food. Stories are read by actors like teachers with differing voices to suit the story characters amongst the giggles or hush of boys & girls. Small kind gestures are rewarded - if a kid helped other with shoe laces or in an English lesson! Assembly hall is told Joshua was very kind to Simon and he helped him with his heavy rucksack  Well done Joshua. You are a Star. Joshua thinks he can conquer the world. The idea is to make each boy or girl by turns proud of themselves. This lays a excellent foundation to their future. Cramming is deplored & as said end of the term exams do not take place & you are automatically promoted to the next. Equal emphasis is on music games & arts." Alas!! In India that is just one long forgotten case!!

Jayati Roy adds her opinion on Dr. Kaul's article as - "Our education system sadly does not allow the children to pursue their own dreams and interests. We are obsessed with churning out more doctors, engineers and lawyers than nurturing innovative skills in our children. The need to survive and earn takes over the dreams of excelling in other fields of knowledge and arts. Most parents do not encourage their children to think on their own but impose their own unfulfilled dreams and goals which builds up as huge pressure on the child and he shuts the world of imagination and creativity and starts working on realising his parents wishes. Failure is not tolerated and comparisons with other children make it more worse . the government education policy is also a big hurdle. They have never invested in such an important area and we have a huge number of graduates and literates whose main objective is to earn money and nothing else!. With a population of 1.2 billion, it is more about doing a job amidst high corruption and caste reservations that take up the mindset than to compete globally in innovative skills and knowledge.  You have rightly observed that unlike the west we hunt for talent in the university level and not in the primary school level stage. I entirely agree with you that the battles of third world nations override the need for bringing the best of the creative skills and knowledge in to the global platform."

Indeed she has read the article by Dr. Kaul in all the right perspective and related to the overall truth exposed by Dr. Kaul.

What is the crux of the matter - Indian Education system as highlighted by Woz and then elaborated by Dr. Kaul as well as Jayati Roy, needs to be revisited.  Focus on Vocational Trainings need to be emphasized. "Catch them Young" needs to be the success criteria as creativity can be seen in a child right when they start playing with Lego's or start fidgeting with the musical instruments in their childhood.  It is important to encourage them right at the time they get out from their Diapers and start wearing those pajama suits to go to bed.  Need is to encourage.

India, a country of a billion plus doesn't have the lack of skills or talent, but indeed has a lack of mentors. There is a dearth of those who would step up to encourage Risk Taking behavior to try something new and something creative.  It indeed is an open secret for the world that Indians in the West are more creative and more Risk Taking race than any other one, then why not just in India? Simple answer is the Rat Race being promoted by the Indian Education System that qualifies success by the academic brilliance for Fat Pay Check rather than a meaningful occupation with inner peace!!!

M K Gandhi and Nathuram Godse - A viewpoint

Received a message on Social networking  that contains a letter claimed to be from the Great Grandson of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi alias Mahatma Gandhi alias Baapu alias Father of Nation in India. Though I can't vouch for the originality of this letter, but the overall aspects highlighted in the letter is worth a read.

Highlight of Letter is the misuse or say abuse or say milking of the incident where Nathuram Godse had killed MK Gandhi. It has been almost 69 year to that incident , but INC still tries to exploit that episode. If they are trying that hard, it is important that some truth from the others should also see the light of the day.

😳 Do spare a moment to know the truth from original "Gandhi" :

Mahatma Gandhi's great grandson Shri Krishna Kulkarni's open letter to
Rahul Gandhi in response to the Congress VP saying the RSS had killed Gandhi..

Dear Mr. Rahul Gandhi,
Gandhiji was my great grandfather. He was assassinated by Mr. Nathuram Godse.
Many inquiry commissions have researched the case and none has implicated the RSS.

My grandfather Ramdas Gandhi wrote to the then Home Minister, Sardar Patel to spare Mr. Godse the capital punishment.

Our family had moved on even then... but...just for  your information..when Ramdas Gandhi lay dying in Mumbai (1969), Mr. Gopal  Godse, the younger brother of Mr. Nathuram Godse did pay him a visit.

So as  it stands, this issue is squarely in the past and my family has moved on........

My humble suggestion -- your  folks who own Congress (I) and your
goodself...should move on AND QUIT milking the name of  Gandhi and this issue for YOUR SELFISH BENEFITS.

Have the magnanimity to accept the verdicts of the  various commissions. To keep harping that the RSS killed Gandhi is akin to saying the Sikhs killed your GRANDMOTHER ... which would be such a petty falsehood isn't it?

A  couple of guys don't make for a community.... So please stop this charade, stop this opportunistic usage of the Gandhi name.

YOU ARE NOT FROM THE GANDHI FAMILY. YOU HAVE FOOLED TOO MANY PEOPLE FOR TOO LONG USING GANDHI NAME IN INDIA. STOP IT NOW.

Feroze Gandhi was in reality Feroze Khan, son of a Gujarati Pathan Nawab Khan of Junagadh and his wife was a Parsi who had converted to Islam.

Your grandmother Indira was also a  Muslim having converted to Islam to
marry Feroze.

You are a mixture of Muslim and Christian.
There is no Rahul or Gandhi in you.

YOU are nowhere close to being a HINDU but a combination of MUSLIM/CATHOLIC DNA - with due respect to all the communities.

I am putting this in the public domain as someone from the Gandhi family has to call your bluff.
- Mr. Krishna Kulkarni

Bitter Fact of Freebies - Minority Appeasement

India, the great nation of history and culture, can also be termed as the worst possible country in the world when it comes to Politics.  It's not something that we inherited from years of our history, it is something that was inherited by JLN's Congress from his masters in East India Company.  Indeed the religious divide and the minority appeasement.  Britishers when set their foot on this land had actually set their sight in the diversity and they didn't even wink to see the cracks in the overall "Unity in Diversity". From then on, they went on to the level of giving us a divided nation on the basis of Religions.

The first Government lead by JLN went ahead and rooted the seed of caste based divide. Why, Oh Well, as part of the Vote Bank Politics, hell no.  For that matter it is very important to understand the lineage there and since I don't have enough data to go beyond 1857 AD, I am not going to discuss that matter here. But, it needs to be noted that Secular JLN and likes worked further on the agenda of crushing Sanatan Dharma or the Hindu Religion.  It is quite interesting how his daughter weds a certain Muslim Feroze Khan rechristened as Feroze Gandhi and then how things unfold in that lineage also.

Thanks to such national leaders that we went on to see the problem of Kashmir including the POK, Gilgit Baltistan and Ladakh.  How interesting it is that JLN who claimed to be a Kashmiri Pandit, never ever addressed Kashmir issue and more to it that in his term "Shaksgam Valley" a piece of India's territory to the north of Siachen Glacier was gifted by Pakistan to China and he still waited for UN mandate.  Why the hell did he go to UN to deal with the problem that was created by his short sightedness?  Further, if the lineage is of Kashmiri Pandit, why the hell in the world did 1990 incident ever happened where KPs had to take refuge in their own country?  Imagine being called refugee in your own country even after 65 years of independence.

Now to top it up, as if the caste and religious divide was not enough, JLN created another wonderful formula for Minority Appeasement - Subsidy.  So Subsidy for what? Subsidy for Religious Pilgrimage, for whom? the devote Muslims who would want to pay their visit at the holy shrine of Mecca in Saudi Arabia.  I simply fail to understand that when followers of other religion want to pay visit to their shrines, they are to pay their own expenses and then to top it up those expenses include various taxes including various tolls, service charges etc etc.  No ain't an intentional way to create communal divide? and then they want us to call India as a Secular Republic?  When we don't see that at par treatment, then why should be it a Secular Republic?

Another aspect to look at is the "Muslim Law Board", why do we need that?  If India is one Sovereign Socialist Secular Republic, then whey in the world do we need separate set of laws? One set for Muslims and second one for the rest of them?  Ain't it another idiocy of Minority Appeasement?

Third aspect is one of the most recent revelation to me at least and am sure most of the other fellow citizens would have been startled as well with that; the revelation I am hinting at is the Free Flights, Hotels and Other amenities to the Kashmiri Separatist Leaders from Hurriyat Conference and likes. It is said that every year Indian Government spends roughly Rs. 100 crore (Rs. 1 billion) on providing these facilities and these freebies to the likes of Gelani.  Why? may be someone in the ancestral Congress Government would have wanted to bribe them and keep them happy to reduce the noise or god knows if that was something that was devised to find them officially to keep the lamp burning. How interesting that the separatist leaders who fuel the terrorism, violence and agitation in the state of Jammu & Kashmir are funded by Indian tax payers' money.  What would it be called other than Appeasement?

Mixed Month Posts for August 2016 - Bulletin

May be it was olympics or the busy schedule I have been going through or may be just laziness per say; I think I missed writing for almost a month.  When I turn back there has been so much that transpired in India as well as world that I really got confused at which topic to select from. So I decided to do a catch up act for the purpose of ensuring that my article doesn't go out of shape.  There would be different parts in which I would like to cover various topics that I would have written if I would not have missed the bus....Read On

  1. We all heard that Secretary of State John Kerry visited India and was stuck in traffic snarls for an hour or so.  Now, while addressing the crowd at IIT Delhi, he mocked if they all made it to the venue by boat.  Interesting to note and it seems John Kerry forgot the Snow Storm that hit the East Coast couple years back, wish somebody would have asked him if he made it to his office on sledge.  However, jokes apart, we need to focus more on the water logging problem in Delhi and the mess of the stuff by the State Government v/s Central Government Control there.  It needs to be looked at as the failure to deliver and failure to govern.  I have lived in NCR for quite sometime, but never saw such a mess of state before this.  When I looked at the Pictures and Videos, it seemed to me as if they were to be from Mumbai.  However, Mumbai would declare such scenario before hand with declared school holiday, travel only if required advisory etc.  But Delhi, am sure has to learn a lot after seeing such deluge. Thankfully, I didn't hear any casualty news amid the mess.
  2. France  Burkini episode made heads turn with the video and images of Burkini related episodes and people started calling that as Islamophobia. Interesting that they all missed the bus and no one ever noticed the video or news on a woman being thrashed by Muslim Men for god knows what reason.  Apparently, I heard the news and am trying to get that video to put it in public domain, but then it has been a tough task.  But for sure Burkini made the headlines with all Pseudo Intellects and Pseudo Seculars in the world lining up to support a medieval period practice that is used for oppression of women.  And well, why was Burkini designed in the first place when we already had something called Wetsuit in place that divers do use, if complete body suite is must, then Wetsuit does provide the option. Isn't it in itself a way to radicalize and raise tempers? And eh, last I heard US suggested France to lift up the Burkini Ban....eh Hypocrisy??
  3. Piers Morgon, God knows who is he, started mocking at the India's 2 medal win at Olympics.  Why? for god knows what reason and went ahead to challenge Virender Sehwag for a bet of Rs. 1 million if UK wins a world cup before India wins (another) gold at Olympics.  he seems to have a week or no memory that India as 9 gold (8 in Hockey & 1 in Shooting) but England has no World Cup win.  They tried to claim that they won ICC T20 World Cup in 2010, whoa what a shame trying to compete on unequal grounds??  What more can be said about Piers Morgon that he needs some real life to get some facts in place.  He should not forget that for 200 years England ruled India calling it British India, they accumulated mammoth amount of wealth through trade (giving India nothing),  plundered Indian wealth the biggest example of that is Kohinoor Diamond that is part of queens' crown and also transporting millions of labors as well as soldiers from India.  Piers need to also note that even today British Army has Gurkha's as soldiers and the Gurkha's need not be citizens of England to join the Army there. So, the next time he opens his mouth, he needs to live with the fact that if he has the guts to speak some crap, we have the guts to put that crap back in his mouth.  Anyways, he seems to have suffered with Foot in Mouth disease when he tweeted all that stuff.
  4. Indian State of J&K was reeling under curfew after violence erupted post merciless killing of terrorist Burhan Wani dubbed as the son of a poor School HeadMaster by none other than nawazon se pali Burkha (oops Barkha) Dutt. What else, that the terrorist was declared Martyr by ppl from neighbor Pakistan. The violence, rioting or the violent protest by a peace loving community lasted for almost 51 days and guess where did that money come from to fund them to sit at home and enjoy paid vacations?  Per Sources crores of funds were mobilized through Hawala route and that is now being investigated by Income Tax Sleuths in India. Ah and I haven't heard much of violence in last day or two since the curfew was lifted when the State treasury had to distribute the Salaries for NOT working for almost two months.  Eh, seems protestors want to have the legal money also with them before hitting the Indian security forces once again with stones and other possible means.  It is also rumored or may be a truth that Nawazon se pali Barkha Dutt is leading the brigade to end use of Palate Bullets that hurt 5 to 15 year old in eye, nose, face and where not.  But while doing so, why does Ms. Dutt forget that the Indian Security forces never entered any house to shoot someone, so what were these young kids or tender age doing on the street with stone pelting crowd?  Certainly, the protestors used them as their defense.  While broadcasting the news of palate gun use, they are talking about the 70 Kashmiris killed and few thousand hurt, but they forget to mention the 1600 some indian security personnel who were severely hurt due to stone pelting.  Moreover, why don't the likes of Barkha Dutt, Sagarika Ghose, Rana Ayyub etc etc (morons) report on the atrocities by the protesting crowd to stop Doctors and patients including pregnant ladies??  Hell, yeah Pseudo Secular Yellow Journalist crowd....
  5. Baluchistan made news and headlines with Indian PM Modi mentioning about it along with POK, Gilgit and Baltistan.  Baluchistan was forcefully annexed to Pakistan and since then has been treated like a second grade province.  Though rich in natural wealth, Baluchistan never progressed like it should have and people there have been ever fighting against the oppression of Pakistan.  the genocide and other atrocities by Pakistani forces in Baluchistan has ever fueled the voice of Independence by separatist Balochi leaders.  I would cover this topic in detail with entire history and geography of Baluchistan to do the right justice to this topic.
Signing off from this Bulletin... Happy reading!!

Cooking Gas Subsidy

Just in very recent times there has been a lot flutter in the Indian Political circles as well as the normal human being's life in India. This flutter has been due to the "Subsidy" involved in the overall scheme of Cooking Gas supply.  I saw the advertisements as well as the message from the Prime Minister of India issued to the Residents / Citizens of India to give up the subsidy to help ensure that those households that still use the Cooking oil or wood or charcoal get benefited with the supply of Subsidized Cooking Gas.

Now, here the Prime Minister, his advisers and the entire team working on this campaign has failed miserably to do their research first and then start this campaign.  If they ever wanted this to be a 100% success, they should have started from taking the measure from their level.  The step 1 must have been taken at the canteens in the Parliament and the Ministerial offices. When you expect the masses to join the campaign to make it a success, the representatives of the masses need to act first.

The MPs, the MLAs, the Ministers and the Senior Government Officials should be the first one to give up the subsidy.  They are supposed to be the Super influential cadre who certainly do not need the subsidy whether at work or at home.

The big question that certainly is making round in the social media is - Why should I give up subsidy when the Super Influential Cadre doesn't do that? and certainly that is a question that must be answered by the Campaign planners.

If our "Leaders" do not want to lead an effort by expect us to still fall in line, then I am certainly NOT with them to this effect and I would certainly not support the agenda or the campaign.

Dear Prime Minister, if you want us to walk the path you show us, then ensure that the Law makers of the country are marching ahead of us.

Mysterious Death of Indian Nuclear Scientists

Starting from 1966 to date, several Indian Nuclear scientists have been reported to be dead under mysterious circumstances.  This includes the father of Indian Nuclear Program Dr. Homi Jehangir Bhabha.  Dr. Bhabha is said to have died in an air crash near Mt Blanc in Swiss Alps, but incidentally no debris of it were ever found in last almost 50 years. Incidentally, he died just after declaring publicly that India could produce a nuclear device in a short span of time. Some conspiracy theories point towards CIA sabotage. Truth is at large in this case.

The case got more attention off recently with more mysterious deaths between 2009 and 2013 not reported by the mainstream media in India.  the list goes like -

  • June 15, 2009 - Lokanathan Mahalingam from Kaiga Atomic Power Station
  • December 30, 2009 - Umang Singh and partha Pratim Bag - Bhabha Atomic Research Center
  • February 23, 2010 - M Iyer - Bhabha Atomic Research Center
  • April 2011 - Uma Rao - Associated with Bhabha Atomic Research Center
  • 2012 - Mohammad Mustafa - Indiara Gandhi Center of Atomic Research
  • October 2013 - KK Joshi and Abhish Shivam - Engineers on indigenious nuclear poered submarine - INS Arihant
  • Undated - Ravi Mule - Nuclear Power Corporation India Ltd.
  • March 3, (year unknown) - Titus Pal - Bhabha Atomic Research Center
  • Undated - Dalia Nayek - Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics
There were another cases of reported suicides including 5 from Bhabha Atomic Research Center - Avdesh Chandra (2000), Ashutosh Sharma and Soumik Chowdhary (2010), Akshay P Chavan (2010) and Subhash Sonawane (2010) - All mysterious cases of suicide or as reported suicide..

When I started reviewing each case individually, what came to my attention is the lethargic investigation by the cops and the luke-worm or no coverage by the prestitude media on these cases.  Certainly these cases of mysterious deaths and suicides should be followed up by a rigorous investigation by the cops and should ring an alarming bell for the government.  If we would keep losing our scientists at such rate, we may end up losing the race without knowing the real cause of their deaths.  It may even push other scientists to move away from countries prestigious and self sustained Nuclear Science program creating a dearth of skills in that arena.

Though I expect very less from the Prestitude Media of India as they wouldn't find this as a selling news and they would prefer to not cover this as a front-line news.  They would prefer to be engaged in Yellow Journalism highlighting the State Convicts as the Wronged hero and giving cover to their story as it sells!!!!

But the readers of this blog and others from where this is sourced need to be more active through Social Media and press for thorough investigation in each such death!!!

Secularism in India = Minority Appeasement

Time and again at various discussions, I have said as well as maintained that Secularism in India applies only to the Hindus. The history of "Secular India" highlights that the entire tactic of Secularism is nothing but Suppressing the Hindus and appease the Minority community.  Interesting point is that it is only in India that we witness the grants and subsidy for pilgrimage of minority community.  No where in the world other than India does it happen.  Isn't that a BIG evidence of minority appeasement?

It is very interesting to see that how these Secular NGOs and Individuals hoard together to shout against the atrocities on the minority community.  I am actually surprised at the whole Secularist Drama that unfolds every time there is someone convicted and is from Minority community.  Be it Ajmal, or the Professor from Delhi or the Latest Edition - Yakub Memon.

The way the Drama has unfold for the Delhi Professor and the Politics that was played then was well understood for it was Congress regime and Congress is well known for its Pseudo Secular face.  When we look at the present case of Yakub Memon, there was a lot of melodrama that unfolded in recent days. A lot of pleas and petitions were filed by those Pseudo Seculars.  They even went on to have the session of Supreme Court set at wee hours of the morning.  What were these Peudo Seculars trying to prove? What did they achieve?

Weren't these Pseudo Seculars aware that he is a culprit of humanity? Why did these Pseudo Seculars state that he was lured by CBI to come back to India and hence he should not be hanged? Don't these Pseudo Seculars realize that he was lured by Not so Seculars on the name of revenge and jehad and that he himself willingly walked into their trap??

Certainly these Pseudo Seculars want to ensure that their Shops and Political Establishments keep on with Business and that their money wheel to keep churning enough for them to create unnecessary disturbances in the national politics and communal (dis)harmony.

My open questions to the likes of Prashant Bhushan -
  1. Did you ever wake up at 2 in the night to go and check on the victims of terror attack?
  2. Did you ever walk in to the house of that Constable who was injured in a terror attack?
  3. Where were you when those terrorists attacked the Dinanagar Police Station in Gurdaspur? (oops I should have skipped this question as the answer is obvious "Busy preparing for saving Yakub)
I am sure there wouldn't be enough for them to explain as they would surely say "It is NOT a case that matters to Humanitarian cause!!!! It is a terrorist attack and matter for government to solve." Yeah why not These people would get up to shout the slogans only when one of those terrorist would be caught and sentenced to be hanged. Their money making NGOs would get the money churning case!!!

Government should seriously look at the way the Monetary Transactions would have moved for these Pseudo Seculars and ther NGOs during this period of time that the Pseudo Seculars were moving all the strategies to save Yakub.  There is a lot of stinking Hawala smell in this case!!!

Also, With All Due Regards to The Actor from Minority Community, I wouldn't be surprised to hear from someone that he got Convicted because of his name and religion and he didn't mow his car on those pavement dwellers!!! I have already heard some of these for Yakub linking his punishment to his religion and not his deed...and some even went to state that they would prepare for Jihad!!!

My serious request to all the sane and true seculars - get things straight and make them understand that clap sound comes only when to hands meet with certain force.....and for India to be Secular, efforts from all the corners would need to be made.....appeasement is actually more communal than being secular!!!!

Caste Based Reservation

India, the country of unity in diversity; the country of rich cultural heritage; the country of historical evolution and the land that gave world the concept of Universal Brotherhood (वासुदेव कुटुम्बकम्) is today reeling under the divide created ny the word "Reservation". Why? Ask them who have suffered due to the ill treatment they met under this system of Reservation for education, job and other amenities for the backword classes to be referred as SC, ST & OBC.

So what is reservation and how did it become a system to finally become the evil governance mechanism for the vote bank of political parties? Cutting the long long story short, this system is the offshoot of Divide & Rule policy of Britishers that was further nurtured by the Father if the Nation (by calling them as Harijan) and encashed by the first prime minister of India. And the every government at center ensured that it keeps up the place in political circle and all of them encash it.

The provision of Caste based Reservation was made in books of Governance for a limited period of 20 years frpm the time of Independence (1947) and this provision was to be abolished by max 1970. The intent of provision was to bring the Backword Classes at par with the other classes and ensure economical balance for all the classes.  But with the time, the then ruling party Congress realized the political mileage it got and post the split Congress (I) continued the legacy.

Though the benefit of Reservation can't still be seen across the Backward Classes except for the rich and affluents who have managed to become more and more rich; the ill effect is pretty much visible on the general class for even after scoring 90% they have to step aside for someone with just the pass marks. WHY?? Hell for the sake of Reservation provisions. And then these students after clearing their exams get jobs too for the reserved position.

There are several such cases where government faced a lot of flake for this. 1989 was one such year when there were huge protest during VP Singh's tenure as PM if India. But even after all those protests and raised voice discussions, the evil of reservations are still impacting the progress of the nation.

Though in my personal capacity, I do not propose to scrap the policy of reservation, but I oppose the policy of Caste Based system of Reservation. I would support the provisions if that would be for those who are economically weaker irrespective of which caste or religion they belong to.

If Acche Din are supposed to be coming, India as a nation demands abolishing caste based reservations and replace them with economy based Reservation System with an upper cap of 35% or so.

If this is not done and we continue with current schemes, the time would surely come where General Category would be relegated and woyld suffocate to find a place to study or find a job.

Women and Indian Society

The Indian Society that today is raising its voice against the derogatory remarks by the two lawyers is very much right from the perspective of raising their voice against the retards.  Any person not just an Indian but any where in the world must understand one thing that however rich the traditions and culture be, they can't survive without Women. Women are integral part of our cultural system and in effect hold pivotal position.

Women in the Indian Cultural and Mythology symbolize -
  1. Power - Shakti in form of Durga, Kali, Ranchandi and others similar
  2. Education and Literary arts - Saraswati
  3. Money and Fame - Laxmi
  4. Provider of Food - Annapurna / Parvati
  5. Sanctity - Ganges / Ganga
These are just a few examples that can be raised. These actually provide the depth of reliance of Indian Society that primarily is based on the Hindutva Mythology.  If we date back in the History, we would find that the Indian Society always worshiped the power and sanctity of women and they never ever showed any disrespect to women - e.g. Per Ramayana, though Ravan the king of Lanka abducted Lord's Ram's wife Sita, he didn't even try to touch her against her will.  She was not taken to his Palace, rather was kept in a outhouse in his Garden (Ashok Vatika).  He didn't show any disrespect to her or outrage her modesty. That was the high of Indian Society. Then during the Mahabharata time, the respect of for Women could be witnessed in the form that when Dushashan attacked Draupadi's modesty, Lord Krishna came to her side and save her modesty.  She was not punished for that, rather the entire Kauravas had to pay ht price that they were punished and they perished to the might of Pandavas.  Though the incident where Pandavas lost Draupadi in gambling, they never let her modesty be compromised and then they fought for the disrespect shown by Kauravas.

From there, we always have witness high regards for the Women as per Indian Society. None of the ancient Indian scripts ever mention words that may symbolize Rape, Molestation, Outraging the Modesty of Woman etc.  That was never the culture and tradition of this land. Women in that time were free to participate in wars, politics and any other field where they wished to.  There was no hard and fast rule that they had to abide by certain homely routine only.

Those, who refer to the same culture and say that the Indian Culture had no pace for Women or Women should abide by Male egoist's wishes are certainly not those who understand the Indian Culture.

There is enough evidence in the History that would clearly suggest when these restrictions creeped in the social structure and why they creeped in.  The plunderers and attackers from the west were the first one's to introduce rape and victimize Women in India.  So certainly those who think that Women invite rape are those retards whose mentality is a byproduct of those Barbarians and Plunderers.

It is important that each one of us enthuses the old Indian Culture where Men and Women in this land were equal.  There was no restriction on the Women and they were free birds. Veil etc were never part of their attire and they participated in society on equal terms.

We all need to help them get the same status and need to ensure that the Retards like Rapists and those who think Indian Society has no place for Women are taught their lesson. In effect it is such people who outrage the modesty of People who should be thrown away from the Social Circuits and they are the ones who have no place in any Society.

Indian Land Reforms Ordinance

On April 9 2014, I had written the article on Land Reforms and had raised a questions on the overall land reforms being pushed by the then government. Words From Thoughts: Land Reforms - My Thoughts

Late last year, the new Government elect under Mr. Narendra Modi passed and Ordinance in this aspect and then they tabled the Land Bill this year in the Parliament.  The Ordinance and the Bill both are being pegged to be anti-farmer and anti agriculture.  Well that is actually least to say.  The Ordinance and the Bill both are actually taking us at least 100+ years back to the Raj era when government could annex a land at will.

The government is trying to defend the bill stating that it would generate more jobs. But is that the truth? Hell, no!!! The truth is today's land owners would become may be Gardner, Office Boy, Security Guard or something similar at the same set of facilities that would stand where they were the Owners.  It will also impact the agriculture base of India with conversion of the Agricultural Land into residential / commercial land.

The flip side of the ordinance or the bill is it is going to impact the economy negatively as the agricultural output to GDP would be negatively impacted.  This will also impact the sociological and ecological balance. For this following points need to be understood -

  1. Sociological Balance
    1. The Logic that the owners would get good amount of money for the land they would sell is in itself not a sustainable logic.  We have already witnessed in the past that those who were once owners of the Land could not balance the huge amount of influx on money and went on to extravagant expenditure to lose the amount in few years.  They then were working as Security Guards or something similar or were Driving Cabs etc
    2. The failure of above point would also mean that the farmers / land owners would end up creating that divide between rich and poor to be more impacting
    3. The failure of above point 1 would also mean that there would be from resentment among the erstwhile landowners when they would see the skyrocketing prices for the land that belonged to them once
  2. Ecological Balance
    1. The Agricultural land and the adjoining areas may be actually the habitat of several migratory birds / animals / species.   If that would get converted to residential / commercial, we may see a fall in the numbers of those visiting that area
    2. More sewage to be planned and with more industrial waste, more issues to environment
    3. Higher degree of green house effect
  3. Economical Balance
    1. With change in the agricultural output from the reduced agricultural land, the overall portion of Agro-output to GDP would go down. This may impact GDP in short as well as Long term
    2. With lesser agricultural output, the self reliance on certain crops may go down and may require us to import food grains. This would increase Trade deficit further with more imports coming into fact than what we actually export
    3. Self Reliant Farmer may become a daily wage earner or low income earner for the change in income scheme from self employed to employed with other.  The per capita fall can be seen in this case
We may argue that above may be a short term deficit from the way they have been mentioned. However, when you would conduct a long term study to understand the slow down, somewhere you would find it written on the wall - Land Bill shouldn't have been passed in current form.  It needs an open debate on the form of the Bill itself.

To conclude I would just say - I am seriously disheartened that the man who ones said that he would repeal one draconian law / act each day, has failed us on this front.  Rather than repealing the Draconian Law, his government has thrown us almost 100 years back

Delhi Elections 2015 - Some Facts Some Speculations

Delhi election results have surprised a lot of people in the political circles including the politicians, the observers, the journalists and the various party supporters.  Every one of us must be thinking what is it that made BJP lose a vital seat of power and from where did the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) came to register the landslide victory?  It is certainly intriguing. Let us start with reviewing certain facts that would be needed to understand what the word politics is all about.
  1. BJP bags 2.9 million votes winning 3 seats in State Assembly against 2.6 in 2014 General Elections when it won 7 Loksabha seats. An Increase of vote base by 300,000+
  2. The percentile votes for BJP more or less hovered at the same as 2014 General Elections - 33%
  3. AAP made a landslide of vote share with almost 54% votes bagging some 15% from Congress and another around 9% from Others
  4. Congress was reduced to 0 with around 9.7% votes and 62 of its candidates had to surrender their Security Deposits. Only 8 could save it.
  5. BSP and other parties were also reduced to 0
Now looking at vote share patterns above, one can't say that BJP could not secure its vote bank.  They very well did that. If anyone has to understand the intent of BJP and Amit Shah in particular, they want a Congress Free India and they started that from Delhi.

So, now coming to the loss of Delhi as a state, how is BJP going to take it? Well, to that I hold the perspective that if BJP would have ever wanted Delhi, they would have simply gone for elections in Delhi before October 2014.  They would not have waited for so long, almost 8 months to say that.  Also, if they would have been serious about Delhi elections, they would have come out with a manifesto and declared the list of Candidate much before they actually did.  Moreover, they brought an all-together new face of Kiran Bedi as the CM candidate.  Would you all call these developments as Management Mistakes?  I wouldn't, i would rather call these as the Master Stroke from the Brilliant Strategist in Amit Shah.

Let's have a look at certain aspects to why Amit Shah would ever do that? Why would BJP not want Delhi -
  1. Delhi does not have the 100% status of state. It hangs there in between State and Union Territory
  2. Delhi is impatient and the impatience of Delhi is unruly.  They want quick turnaround of the promises made.  The discontent and the unruly patience of Delhi can be well attributed to the 15 years of Congress regime (that's a separate topic and not something I want to elaborate here)
  3. If it were BJP in center and BJP in Delhi as a "State", it would have been difficult for BJP to stand the pressure of Local Masses to fulfill the promises made
  4. Delhi would have wanted more governance initiatives with involvement of Center and BJPs focus could have been distracted from the nation-wide campaign they want to run - "Congress Free India"
  5. BJP state functionary is one of the most disobedient in Delhi
The gains for BJP and the future that they are carving out for themselves -
  1. BJP would be more focused on the destabilized Bihar where they would want better standing
  2. BJP would be more concerned with securing more seats in the Upper House - Rajya Sabha from the Northern states of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh (UP) and eastern state of West bengal
  3. BJP would want to utilize Delhi as a case study to shore up AAP as the main rival than Congress, thus eliminating Congress from the National level
  4. BJP would let AAP die its own death for not being able to fulfill the promises of Ample Water (there is a dependency on Haryana to that effect and Haryana has BJP Government. We may see Karnataka v/s Tamil Nadu case replicating sooner or later)
  5. Law and Order in Delhi is controlled by Central Government, another area where AAP may get frustrated
  6. Any Legislative Bill that needs to be presented in Delhi has to be routed through Home Ministry (the one card that BJP played last time with Jan Lokpal), another point where AAP may get frustrated
So a more indepth review of the scenario of Delhi would certainly provide the required parameters that would have been evaluated by BJP Think Tank before deciding to surrender Delhi.

However, BJP must not close their eye on their presumptions as the AAP 2.0 (as media coined the term) is quite smarter and sharper than before.  They may bend the rules of the game and may diplomatically arm twist to ensure that they are not blamed for the failure where they didn't have direct control on things.  Center from that perspective would have to be supportive to AAP in Delhi as AAP has done a better study of Delhi issues this time around.

The time would be of Caution for BJP as AAP may  charge them with more vigor and zeal in Bihar, UP and Bengal for that matter. And am sure AAP is going to focus on Punjab too for that matter as that's where both Congress and BJP have faltered big time.

Time for Indian Politics to see a new era where it would be between BJP and AAP the conventional v/s Youth Politics and if AAP survives Delhi for full five years, the nation may be in for BIG surprises in coming time....

History of Forced Conversions and Ethnic Cleansing

As I was having a few discussions on the two prominent religions in India and as the reference to Zaid Hamid's Slaughtering Hindus remark was discussed, I did some of my own research.  A deep diving research on the way things have happened in Indian subcontinent. Right from the time there is a history of mankind on this subcontinent, including Afghanistan and Iran for that matter.

The research or the study revealed that all through the history, Hindus were slaughtered, they were forced converted and they were tortured. The Geography that was known as "Aryavrat" spanned from Iran to Myanmaar & Thaniland (Siam) and Afghanistan to Srilanka.  There was quite  lot influence on the nearby geographies of Malaysia and Indonesia.  So that would mean at that time there was no Pakistan, no Bangladesh, no Iran and no Afghanistan. It was all one land.

Just to provide one example, During Mahabharata time that is supposed to be so 3000 BC, Mother of Kaurvas "Gandhari" was from Gandhar, the modern day Kandhar in Afghanistan.  That would mean that Historically, Afghanistan was very much a Hindu Geography.  Same was the case with Iran and other adjoining area.

So when did this change? When did these geographies convert to be called as Muslim Countries and when did Islam got enforced on those areas? That is a very interesting set of questions that have never been answered by Most of the Historians and that has been always a ducked set of questions by those who try to come forward to save the west and Christianity.  For the case of Iran, ALL we know now is the fact that it was known as Persia (Faras in Hindi) after certain time frame (after breaking away from Aryavrat - that timeframe is not known to me at this time) and the people of that geography were known as Persians (Farsi in Hindi). They are the ones who are said to be following Zoroastrianism (a 3500 years old monotheistic religion founded by Prophet Zoroaster).

With the advent of Islam, the first inter-religion conflict was reportedly between Muslims and Jews and we still witness that between the Arab world and Israel.  The next set of people who faced the wrath of Muslim extremists were Zoroastrians and those who were lucky and who could flee from the clutches of Barbarians, reached the shores of India. The Zoroastrians got the heaven to live in where they were respected and where they could practice their belief, as they still do.

So after a successful crusade into Iran certainly the Afghanistan and western part of Aryavart was the target and the Barbaric acts of Muslims have enough coverage in History of India, though as the Truk Crusade or as Mangols or as for Gulam Dynasty or as the Mughals.  Interesting point is these Historians have actually presented the whole case in a glorified manner rather than providing the truthful presentation of facts.  The torture of Hindus, the forced conversion or death, the rape and abduction of Hindu females, the genocide et al are all happily buried in the glorified Muslim attacks on India and Hinduism.

The conversion of Iran and Afghanistan has their own horrific tales, the mass genocide and ethnic cleansing in Kashmir has it own horror story, the mass ethnic cleansing of Hindus in 1947 during Partition and then in 1971 in Bangladesh tells one very clearly that millions of Hindus were butchered but no one ever brought that topic on the world stage.

The Partition of India in two nation knows no bounds of the way Hindus and Sikhs were butchered in Pakistan.  but what after that? Those who stayed back in Pakistan, were they safe or are those Hindus and Sikhs from Pakistan still safe there? Answer is NO.  A study of population or the census data would reveal that the % of Hindus and Sikhs has deteriorated in Pakistan from 1947 to date.  The data suggests that there were close to 10% (of total population) Hindus and Sikhs in Pakistan in 1947. A realistic figure today reveals it to be less than 2%.  The 2006 census stated around 20000 Sikhs for that matter.  So why the figures fell so steep from 10% to less than 2%?

The data and facts that I came across in my deep diving study or research are really horrifying from the Historical perspective.  We have really seen shrinking figures for the Hindus on this land and we have already witnessed the ever increasing ethnic cleansing / forced conversion.  The Hindus today have accommodated most of the Muslim way of living in their lives (unknowingly or knowingly) and have forgotten quite a few of their own.  For that matter, most of the Hindus would be found claiming 786 to be a lucky figure, but why, they don't know the answer. There are many such instances that can be sighted.  The Muslim Influence on Hindus is increasing and we may see a big disruption similar to what we have seen in Middle East, Europe and in African Nations, if that influence is not controlled or shrugged off.

It is important for us to understand that likes of Zaid Hamid have made a statement of "Slaughtering Hindus" in Afghanistan every time we would land there (after US forces would move out...interesting twist)....That's what is the truth from the History that needs to be brought out in front of the world - Islam has been spread to the world by Barbaric Missions and by curbing other beliefs.  And they are at it again (ISIS in Middle East, Boko Haram in Nigeria, Talibans in Pakistan and Afghanistan ad few more in India).

It is important that the world comes together forgetting the religious differences to end this Barbaric Act of Forced Conversions and Ethnic Cleansing.  The religious fanatics need to end their Idiosyncratic Act and put and end to the whole Barbaric Mess!!!

Kashmir Backdrop - No Movies of KP Plight

Why am I writing on the topic that hardly anybody likes to write on?  A movie on KPs or Kashmiri Pandits?  What would we show in that and What would we be able to achieve in that when we would not be able to add any "Regular Indian Movie Spice" in that movie.  There is nothing major Melodrama in that story on Kashmiri Pandits. Oh Yeah, we can do a serial like Buniyaad or Hum Log, but in today's scenario, it wouldn't get the TRP that Channels want.

Well, well well, we have seen that movies on Kashmir's bloodbath can be made and in recent times at least two movies - Mission Kashmir (starring Sanjay Dutt and Hritik Roshan) and Haider (starring Shahid Kapoor) were made.  The story line of both the movies revolved around the atrocities of Indian armed forces on the minority community...oops Majority Community in Kashmir.  Interstingly both the movies got critical acclaims and fared well on Box office.

This prompted me to dwell into a thought process to do a movie on Kashmir, but with a different story line. The story would be of a Kashmiri Pandit from displacement to Exodus. A story that would range from his prosperous past with green-fields in Kashmir to the Refugee Camp in Delhi to the tough fight he has to put to get his son educated and serve in Indian Army.  Just a thought and just a plot.  There is more to it, but then where I am?  Stuck with the Story. Why?, because there is no fund to make the movie. Why? there is no masala in the movie as highlighted in the opening para.

Someone told me to redo the story where the Muslim angle can be exploited rather than the truth that I want to highlight.  I had written the story after a long painful research on the plight of Kashmiri Pandits.  Gathered the facts and fear they went through and coined through their pain of exodus.  But, the producers want to add the twist and show the plight of others that resulted in insurgency in Kashmir.

Oh yeah, everyone is interested only in the exploitation of situation that would help them sell, but they don't want to bring the truth to the table because that would turn the tables around!!!

Kashmir - The Land of Ethnic Cleansing

It is a pain and is a real sorrow to read an article by S. A. Aiyar on A tale of two ethnic cleansing in Kashmir. The pain is unexplained and I wish I could have written this article with my Blood rather than choosing the red font.

SA Aiyar in his blog on Times of Inida, has suggested that the Ethnic Cleansing of Kashmiri Pandit's was long impending for what happened in 1947. In his article, he highlights the brutality against Muslims and where the figures of those killed in 1947 to be around 200,000 (muslims) and displaced 500,000 or so. He refers to some researchers.

Overall his article is something that I would call as a betrayal to the reality and an act against the Country. Why? Because his article highlights only the Half truth.  His article points our at various pointers that provide with Hair Rising half baked truth.  And to his audacity, he has stated "Official figures say only 219 Pandits were killed in the valley. But the threat of violence was so great, and the chances of curbing it so remote, that lakhs of Pandits fled. Most are now rotting in refugee camps in Jammu". Should we be clapping at the worst way to add to the agony of the displaced?  Shame on You Mr. Aiyar.  You wouldn't know the pain of getting displaced from your own land as down south never had that reach of the attackers who went for Ethnic Cleansing.....If you want to understand the pain of Ethnic Cleansing, try to learn the pain of the Sri Lankan Tamilians who were taken to Sinhalese Land as Cheap Labor and then the Sinhalese Majority Govt. went ahead with some drastic measures there giving rise to Prabhakaran....

If that would not help the likes of Aiyar and the others who just go back few years in the History to declare that in 1947 J&K was predominantly a Muslim populated area, I would like to highlight the History of Jammu and Kashmir.  it needs to be noted that the History of Kashmir doesn't start from just 1947, it rather dates back to the time of Mahabharat when King Sandipan was the ruler of that geographical area.  Until the 1200 AD, Kashmir was ALL HINDU Nation with not even a single Muslim population there. it was only in 1200 AD that the first Muslim attack was successful in Kashmir and the result was drastic - only a few Hindu Families had survived then.  The History of Ethnic Cleansing in Kashmir is not something that started in 1947, it started as early as 1200 AD.  Please if you refer to History, refer the complete historical events and not the portion that you want only to please certain!!!

Moreover, even in 1947, if Mr. Aiyar is giving the account of ethnic cleansing in Kashmir, why did he forget the train loads of corpses that were dispatched from Pakistan? Ah yeah because he was in his nappies then and doesn't remember all those....I was not born, but the eyewitness account shared by the elders has been enough for me to understand and feel...

Mr. Aiyar in his article seems to have been sympathized towards the Minority, may be he wanted to further his political career as the trend these days is. It so seems that he is trying to learn the art of Minority Appeasement.  But he is forgetting that the likes of him would soon change the rule of the game and would convert the Minority to Majority and Majority to Minority.

If I have to basically sum up the act of Mr. Aiyar, then it is simply providing the much needed words to those sitting across the border and trying to raise Kashmir issue as India's ruthless act against Human Rights....Mr. Aiyar missed it that in his article he mercilessly butchered the efforts & Sacrifice of brave sons of the soil....

Nigeria Massacre

Amidst the entire frenzy around the Peshawar attacks, the attacks on Charlie Hebdo office in France, the world missed the worst ever act by Boko Haram in Nigeria.  The attacks that are reported to be lasted almost for 3 days (similar to the case in France where the 3 or 4 attackers killed 17 French citizens) recorded in excess of 2000 deaths across the villages in and around Baga in Northern Nigeria

The act by Boko Haram in Nigeria looks like a case of Ethnic Cleansing. as per the report the Islamist Militants just opened fire or sprayed bullets indiscriminately across the Baga Neighborhood.  In the current scenario or the recent acts of violence, this certainly is the deadliest act, an act of brutality and a crime against Humanity.  But why is the Social Media silent on this? There are many questions that are to be answered by the world and the netizens across the geographies.

Millions marched in Paris raising voice against the Charlie Hebdo incident, with world leaders joining in.  US media criticized President for not participating in that march.  But what in the world did the dead in Nigeria do to not get the attention of the world?  If the dead could speak, then am certain the victims of Boko Haram act would seek a clarification from us on this side.
  • Is it that the incident in France is once is a blue moon sort of incident and that's why the World and the Social Media was abuzz with that?
  • Is it that France is a prominent player in the world economy and is a leading country in eurozone, that it got he attention from the world?
  • Is it that the victims in Charlie Hebdo were Well Educated Economists and Cartoonists that got the attention of the world?
  • Is it that the victims of Boko Haram massacre were just another living being and didn't matter to the world?
  • Is it that Nigeria as a country is already destabilized with ever lasting fight between the government and the Islamist Militants that doesn't draw the attention of the world leaders?
  • Is it that Nigeria is just another country somewhere in Africa and doesn't have the economic or political stand in the world and world map?
There are many such questions that may seem to be vague and idiotic, but need to be answered by the world.

By Far the massacre in Nigeria is a bigger crime against Humanity and violates the nature's law of "Live and Let Live".  This certainly doesn't undermine any other terrorist act, but highlights the depth of crime against Humanity.

Are we sensitive against Crime Against Humanity or are we waiting for the day that would make us believe that the world needs to unite against terrorism and such acts of heinous crime?  Are we still lodged in an era of First / Second / Third world and will stand up only when the higher category gets impacted?

Shame on us!!!! for our silence!!!

Pakistan - At its Best - Alleging India

The turn of events with BJP coming into power in India and the stand the Indian Government took in last year, made us see a change in the outlook Pakistan had about our country,  The decision or say the right stand that Indian Government took with regards to calling back its officials from the discussion / negotiation table with Pakistan is viewed by Pakistan as a point where India is disengaging itself from the talks.  Why shouldn't India do that for Pakistan is continuing its support to the terrorists time and again.  The Pakistani Rangers are resorting to unprovoked shelling and firing across the LOC after the Indian forces failing their attempts to push terrorist (so called Jihadis) into Indian territory.

As a follower of India-Pakistan love and hate relationship with less love and more hate, I have been following the whole case very closely.  I have been following all the terrorist attacks as executed in India as well in Pakistan and have viewed most of the talk shows and interviews (on you tube).  But the most astonishing one had been the one where Pakistan went ahead and claimed that India is waging a war against Pakistan by supporting Terrorists in Afghanistan and organizing terrorist attacks in Pakistan through Afghanistan. All I could say "What an Audacity of a failed nation?"  They went on air to even say that the attack on Peshawar School was staged by terrorist motivated by India and challenged the 5 consulates India has in Afghanistan.

Mia Musharraf, though himself is facing treason charges, went on to say - "Though Culturally, Politically, Ethnically and with other factors, Afghanistan is closer to  Pakistan, Why is India training Afghan military and why is Chief of Army Staff of Afghanistan goes to IMA passing out parade as Chief Guest?"

On the other hand the ex ISI person Hamid Gul also went on the air to raise fingers on India as Mia Musharraf did and say that India is responsible behind the terrorist attacks in Pakistan including that on Peshawar School.

The audacity of Pakistan to raise voice and point fingers at Pakistan has reached heights where they say that India is destabilizing efforts of Pakistan to support fight against terrorism, when the world knows where the training camps for most of the terrorist outfits are.  We all know that likes of Lakhvi and Hafeez Saeed roam free in Pakistan and the terrorism in Kashmir is being supported by them. And to draw the attention of the world, they are making such baseless allegations that India is driving terrorism in that nation....

Pakistan, the nation that is itself two timing the world with terrorism is pointing fingers at India....and we certainly can't even laugh at that as terrorism is a serious matter to deal with...Who would know the ill effects of it more than India....the worst sufferer by the hands of terrorists

Adjust, Shift or Change

Be it personal or professional life, each one of us is often plagued by a decision to adjust, move or change.  Sometimes it is our nature and sometimes it is driven by the circumstances that we put ourselves in such a situation where we get in dilemma or we over-weigh our capabilities. And it is not often that we come victorious in such a situation, though we may believe, but no we don't win in such situations rather we shift our comfort zone and adjust ourselves to meet the circumstances.
For instance take this age old saga of a frog and boiling water that goes like -
Put a frog in a vessel of water and start heating the water. As the temperature of water increases, the frog adjusts its body temperature accordingly and it keeps adjusting with increase in temperature.  Just when the water is about to reach the boiling point, the frog is not able to adjust anymore and it decides to jump out.  The frog tries to jump out but is unable to do so.  Why? because it has lost all its strength in adjusting with the rising temperature.  Very soon the frog dies...
So, if we have to evaluate the story and answer the question - What killed the frog? Most of us would say - The Boiling Temperature...But is that the truth?  No, because the frog died due to its own inability to decide when to jump out and not because of the boiling water.
Similarly in our lives, we all try and adjust to the people and circumstances and forget the option of jumping out until its too late and we start getting stagnant or suffocated in our position.  We often need to ensure that while we do adjust and while we do shift, we also keep the option to Confront and Jump live. And we need not just keep it live, we need to decide to Jump when it is still time and we still have strength to do so.
Most of the times, we let people and organizations to exploit us mentally, emotionally, financially or physically while we try to adjust. They will continue to do so once they start to exploit us and it is totally on us when to tell them "NO", "ENOUGH" and decide to put an end to it and Jump out.  We may need to sacrifice our Comfort Zone for the same, so be ready, don't hesitate and Jump, when it is still time!!
Think and Act!!!

French Attacks - the Indian Case

The recent terror strike in France at the office of Charlie Hebdo and then the Hostage scenario that unfolded and alarmed the nation are being widely condemned across the world. Amidst the whole case USA issued a Global Warning (after serial attacks in Canada, Australia and France) for  terrorist strikes and as I learn from the news that there is high probability that President Obama would seek sanctions against the Islamic State meaning more active role of USA in fighting against the Islamic State in Northern Iraq and Syria.

But with respect to our own country India, we have a slightly different situation with our own Law Makers making Public announcement of rewarding the terrorists with Rs. 51 Crore (USD 8.225 million). Now that is Bizzare and certainly an act to be condemned for a law maker. The so called law maker from India has a history of declaring such alarming rewards and can be called as one of the notorious law maker from India.  Incidentally, the said law maker was supposed to hold a press conference but chickened out from doing so after the outrage on his declaration in the Social Media.

At this time of writing this article, there has been no counterclaims or no such case where the said law maker would have denied to own his own statement.  However, knowing the Politicians, he may certainly go ahead and sugar quote his declaration stating that it was all in good spirits as if the responsible people behind the massacre would come to claim the reward, he would be able to tip the French authorities about the same and thus they would be brought to justice.  But, it seems a vague scenario now for him to make that statement as the French Forces have been able to neutralize the terrorists and he must be trying to look for a way to save his face from further wrath.

Saying that and looking at his mysterious record of making similar declarations in the past, it seems appropriate to me to declare him unfit to be a law maker and expel him from the office with immediate effect. The Election Commission of India should charge him under Graft Case of immorality and support to Terrorist Activities to declare him unfit and his election as null and void.  The Government of India must also instruct the Law Enforcement Agencies as well as the regulators to look into this Financial Transactions over a certain period of time to identify his income source and the way that income is dispersed to various "Charities" or organizations.

Such Politicians and Law Makers certainly are a threat to the Sovereignty of Democratic Republic of India as well as the World Peace and hence they need to be brought to Justice to set an example for others who may otherwise be acting on similar lines.

Mysterious Case - Pakistan's Boat Case

The very recent case Indian Intelligence team and Coast Guards worked in unison to apprehend a suspect terror boat has really turned mysterious. It is certain that the Boat was headed to India, it is also certain that the Boat was carrying certain illicit material to be delivered to someone in India and it is a known fact that the Boat blew itself up by not surrendering to the Indian Coast Guards.

The whole case as it unfolded with the way it did, places higher reliability on the Government sources that state it to be linked with terrorist operation ahead of president Obama's visit to India as the Chief Guest for the republic day celebrations on January 26, 2015.  However, certain Indian political outfits and certain Indian news channels for themselves are painting this case in a very rogue manner to not help the cause of the Government.

The first such rogue handling of the case is by the Oldest Political Party in India that challenged Government's declaration of the incident to be suspect terrorist operations.  It is certainly unfair and highly unpatriotic to use such an incident for Political Affair.  They tried to link the case with Mafia activity, but then the question that they need to answer themselves is "Why would a Mafia Team blow up the Boat in suicidal manner, that too in the High Sea?"  It so seems that the concerned political party failed miserably in evaluating the pros and cons of the Statement it made.  Their act didn't do much help to the cause of National Security in India and lent some more support to Pakistan's claim that the news is farce....

The second such rogue handling of the case is by the Prominent Indian News Channel which raises similar questions as raised by the Political party referred above.

Now, I have a few questions may be some of them a repeat of what Indian Defence Minister Mr. Parrikar has already raised.  These questions are to be answered by anyone who is supporting the Political Party or who think otherwise from what the Government and Coast Guards have to say -

  1. What was the reason that the suspect Boat didn't revert to surrender notification by the Coast Guards?
  2. Why did the 4 suspects switch of the lights of the Boats and try to bypas Coast Guard Vessel?
  3. Why did the 4 suspects shift to the base and light up the boat?
  4. Why did the Boat Blow off in such huge flames if it was a mafia boat and if there were no ammunition on the Boat?
  5. Why did the 4 suspects went on to commit suicide by blowing the boat and not surrender?
  6. The political party needs to clarify its own question "If there were arms and ammunition on the boat or were there any illegal stuff"?  So does that political party considers those arms and ammunition to be Legal consignment as I read from their questions??
Overall, the Political Party has really created a mockery of the whole case.  Rather than joining the Government in condemning the act and rather than criticizing the probable act of terror that might have resulted in something similar to 26/11, they are trying to politicize the matter and in a way supporting Pakistan.

For those who feel that in this article or elsewhere Pakistan is being targeted time and again need to see the video "Finally truth revealed by Pakistani Channel on Terrorism". The Relationship of Pakistan with Terror dates back long time in history, or after watching the Video, one can say that Pakistan has proved to be "Safe Heaven" for the Terrorists and the Masterminds.
